Nice Q & A Marco, some intersting information.

I would have liked to seen a question about the society terminals. I consider them next to useless (no offence) and I find it very difficult to keep track of who is and isnt playing in my society due to it runinning 24hr a day.

If you consider that 70% of the noob players leave the game and don't bother removing their society membership, the soc becomes rather bloated with non-players.

Is the SOC terminal going to get an overhaul? Something like a log that tells the leader if a member played in the last month? A minimum change would be to let the pupils modify their Avatar Info so as to let Soc Leaders know when they last logged on.

It's such a pain.

mmm interesting comment on "changing the confusing heavy weapon skills icon from the lagunas cannon"
id just like a straight answer
considering the lagunus cannon is described as a "heavy weapon"
and fires "heavy weapon cells"
are they ever going to unlock heavy wep skills for it
or just change the icon and say sorry we just put the cannon icon on for a loooong time to represent that stat but hey it aint got anything to do with the skill
sorry to all of u holding onto a cannon for years but its next to usless

does this mean
mabey replace the drilling icon with a rubber chicken
or the handgun icon with a kettle
ahh what the hell lets change them all for random images

Yes we are still planning for vehicles. A more accurate date is probably mid-2007 I guess.

heh could not resist digging up this old post.

I do look forward to the Next-Generation of vehicles to be implemented with the CryTek engine ....

A lot of stuff should have appeared in the game in 2007, but we are in 2008 and still, nothing 'new' ... EU is living it's peak now, if MA doesn't decide to make something about the negative parts, they'll be sorry for saying

$20-50K to start playing EU? Well, if your rich then I guess that would not mean much to you. If your like alot of us, and work for a living, 20 to 50k on a game is stupid. You better be pretty smart with investments in game or have some great luck.

There are thousands of games to play out there, and thousands of casinos to go to. But, EU addicts will always be here. I don't care if 20 new RCE games are out right now, there will always be many people in EU. For many reasons.

Don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell 50% of EU players will leave for any other game. Anytime I play another game, and Ya it's probably the one your talking about, I find myself back in Entropia pretty quick.

And bringing up Q/A from 06? Well, we all know how MA is. Shit takes time. They could do more, quicker, and better. But we could say that about anyone.

They have alot of work to do to even come close to what they tell us is in the future. I get frustrated same as the next person. But I also step back sometimes and look at how I looked and how the game played when I first started. The change is fantastic. They have come along ways, with yet a long ways ahead.

When I play other games I don't feel conected to the avatar. When I'm in EU, it's ME! I feel like in in there, it's my world, my home. Can't really express it right, it's just a feeling when I am logged on. That mass of pixels is me and has been me for years, even tho I look different now, it's still ME!

Find me another game that makes me feel that way and I'll give it a try.

Most things do come in the end. But if Mindark say "We expect this would happen in a few months, maybe new year" what they really mean is "We would love to do this, but it's not going to happen in at the very least two or three years".
