No. We don't believe a general lending system will be beneficial to Entropia Universe, and the security around it is very complex. The indications we have are that if a lending system is introduced it will create monopolies and remove a large part of the fun factor from Entropia Universe.

I see it this way. Why would you need to buy an imk2, when you can lend one and go hunt for 24hour and make proffit with it ....?

But isn't that breaking the monopoly rather than making one?

If MAs reason for not implementing this is their own profit, then they could just say so, and it would be fair enough... MA is a buissness and i respect that...

Yes, MindArk already have the greatest respect for the player base and pay attention to all feedback and suggestions. Unfortunately the staff here cannot instantly implement all the wishes and suggestions that come in from such a large player base. We are forced to sort and prioritize community wishes. Firstly, thanks for providing the community with responses on their questions.

Here are some points and questions in response to your post.

I think, if I'm not mistaken, the point here was pertaining to the lack of communication about issues that we recieve more than often. Simply saying 'we have no plans for this at this time' is not the same as saying; 'we are looking into the feasability of this, although it is low priority to us.' My point being, a one liner retort is not enough to satisfy the audience on a given subject.

Without meaning to be trite, it is difficult to please everyone all the time. I, and many others probably, would like to see a cap on the amount to be charged on this. Currently those who mine for resource on CND end up having to sell to people in the control room at a lower price, and sometimes are unable to as there aren't any traders in the CR, in an effort to get round the exorbitant fees in auction. These fees should not exceed a reasonable value.

Again, forgive me if I misunderstood this point but I believe the originator might have meant a system by which you can mix and match DNA parts and possibly make hybrids and new mobs. Maybe, but not likely.
While creating 'packs' might not be something likely to implement, I thoroughly believe the ability to sell armour as a whole set would be beneficial to the Universe. It could also provide certain trader elements an area in which to operate as an honest business buying up armour pieces as they find them to create sets and sell them complete with a reasonable markup for their efforts. Another thing to help reduce chat spam and lag in certain towns (Twin and PA)

Another thing that I could not see mentioned was the suggestion by 101 regarding being able to set locks/time locks on your items to prevent them from being TT'd. This would a fabulous tool for participants to help prevent costly mistakes in TT'ing items, but also aid hacker protection as a time lock means a hacker could not trade, drop or sell an item because it has a time lock on it.

I hope my comments help you to make EU a better place for all.

By the way, anyone with a link to any information about any other real cash economy mmorpg's please PM me them. It's clear the real advantage is to get in early on such systems as despite my ped throughput I've yet to loot something really nice
