Without meaning to be trite, it is difficult to please everyone all the time. We know that we do have many satisfied customers and we will work steadily to improve the situation for less satisfied customers because that is in everybody’s interest. We can guarantee that we do read the forums and note everything. It is also important to understand that the happy participants in the Entropia Universe are busy enjoying themselves and that the majority of the negative feelings come from a smaller group of people who are vocal about their dissatisfaction. Entropia appears to bring passion into the mix, we even have people who no longer partake in the community or experience that still like to bash us – for whatever reasons.

The reasons are pretty obvious to me. I can't say what they are here because then I will get banned, but it has to do with how Mindark operates its business and communicates with its customers.

Anyway, thanks for the answers.

Thanks Marco for putting the time into posting this. Regardless of the lack of clarity on some matters (some quite understandable), I would bet the community as a whole feels much more valued after reading through your lengthy reply.

As I see it, the big challenge for MA in going forward with develoment ideas (apart from a lack of time and manpower) involves this quote from Marco...

"The hindrance right now is the bandwidth and intra-server-communication. We like to limit the amount of global systems that communicate with every single server in the Universe"

Lag continues to be a problem. Even though its better than years ago, it is easy to see that the engine is starting to buckle under the current strain. In order for many of the cool ideas for the future to reach fruition, this issue needs addressing sooner rather than later.
