It is obvious what 3rd party programs are being used, just write a small code that does the same stuff.

P.S. I actually dont use the 3rd party software cos I am scared of password hacking tbh.

Read the ULA section 5 paragrph 2. AS long as it doesnt influenc the univers
IE, bots, hacks ... ect. Personal tools dont influenc the universe. but watch where you get em and virus scan em.

Wrong, everything influences the entropian universe, we all break the eula in its current form, theres even a clause about having a slow internet connection (rule 16(m) I think it was). A mouse and keyboard interacts with pe, as does most of your computer hardware, ive tried pointing this out to support ( see THIS THREAD but they dont seem to be listening, just giving the same lame answers, and if theyre stating the eula is open to interpretation rather than being totally specific, then doesnt that make the whole thing pointless and void?

I can just hear the excuses now.... "sorry?????... bots are against eula???? and mindark owns all our items???? didnt read it that way, i wanna sue and get my account and items back......"

(Just stating what could happen to somebody btw, not something that has happened to myself as ive never used bots, all my skills (which are very low) I've gained myself, I havent even chipped anything, i do however use peass)

Well ppl, this is the time to take own responsabilities. I mean, it was nice of MA to just post a msg about take care about 3tr parties software and they r making clear they r not responsable for your messes with yr own computer.

Lets face it: it is and will be used on windows and windows is full of holes and securities issues. But security is not their problem. Its yours.

If u want to use some software to get some kind of leverage on the game and some hack gets your stuff, dont blame MA. In the other hand, i think MA should make the changing of passwords easier to the players, after all, to change password is good policy when your are a little concern about security.

Pretty simple from what I see.....anything that runs with EU, and involving EU.

So PEass, + any bot programs, autoclickers, or any other program that works in conjunction with EU.

A 3rd party program is:

1st party OS
2nd party application
3rd party Any program that interacts by using any part of the application files combined with the OS of course.

Some would say peass doesnt use EU directly, but in order to run in the gui of EU it needs to interact directly.

Especially considering that most of those programs need to load before you login to work right......way too easy to log your info.

*not saying in any way that peass does this or is the subject of the notification, just that it easily could.

You can virus check all you want but when an application opens up a port to send info somewhere, it isnt considered a virus...the os could interpret that as downloading updates, even if its unseen or unknown by you.

I just dont trust any of that stuff, peass looks appealing in many ways, but I can alt-tab for info or just log out. Not imo worth losing my account due to an underclarified eula, or worth being at the mercy of someone else.

Same goes for any eu related attachments or side programs like mining mappers, excell sheets ect to risk a hidden keylogger download.

But thats just me

Good that MA released the info IMO, dont think anyone has mentioned that yet.
