Are screen grabbers 3rd party software?

Also, I don't like their reasoning. Telling us It's because of spyware ect... Obvioudly It's clickers & bots and what not. Why not just say It

Okay; let's put this in perspective.

I am a colonist newly arrived on a planet that supports a reasonably high level technology base.

Even at the turn of the 20th Century they could monitor auction prices...yet for some reason I have no in-game way of accessing PEAuction.

They even had, in those aincient times, an easy to access tech database with information on flora, fauna and utilities...yet for some reason I have no in-game way of accessing PEwiki.

They had community sites where like minded people could discuss issues that related to them all in those heady, utopian days...yet for some reason I have no in-game way of accessing Entropia Forum.

And they had camera's that could take megabytes of digital photo's and nearly everyone on the planet owned one...yet for some reason I am stuck with the Entropia version of the box-brownie, and no in-game way of telling if the single shot I took will actully develop.

True, having a warp-style link to the 2006 might be asking a lot for Entropian believability, but the rest is pure common sense.

The people created these sites cos they love the game, and I fail to see how these options can be seen as cheating. Adding a way to access these options should not be hard...tho as this is MA they would probably charge us for a hand-held

As to keyloggers and spyware; sure, third-party software may contain them. However, as has been pointed out elswhere, you can't run a computer without some third-party software...and I for one have anti-virus/spyware software and firewall running all the time to combat these threats.

Or are they suggesting I disable my Norton in order to play?

Another thought struck me as I was playing. We got a wide community from many different countries. Surely it wouldn't take a genius to incorporate translation software or at least a browser and a copy/paste function?

I played another game once that had mainly German participants. We used to alt-tab to use Alta-Vista translation software and were annoyed about no copy/paste function.

With China coming online, this could be a major boon for MA to incorporate...how many games out there have the ability to translate languages?

Just think what it would be like...typing in, say, English, and the other player recieves in Swedish, or French, or German, or Chinese, or American (*joke*...honest ).

With a browser function and copy/paste we could do it...with a bit of an investment, and doubtless a purchasable handheld, MA could do it.

Despite it having been adopted as an international language in the maritime, aviation and business sector's, not everyone speaks English.

Surely you are not suggesting the bot got hacked

There are instances that suggest a certain company has difficulty estimating time; say mixing up 10:40 with 15:30

Perhaps this is just a case of forgetting to update the date...or maybe time runs different in Entropia.

If it is the latter, don't forget it is my birthday in-game every 3.1415 days

Isn't the code to pe-ass now public?

can't mindark simply incorporate it inside entropia? or put some internet machines inside the bars? then they serve some purpose.. they could even charge us for using the internet inside bars.. (oops shouldnt have mentioned that)

The code has not been made public and I'm with Joe Taxpayer on the subject.

Would you trust anyone other than chainfire playing with that code? I like to know my multi-million dollar internet transactions (slight exaggeration) are secure
