Recent Change to Team Settings

Well, I'm surprised. I reallly expected them to fix this based on our volume of support cases and clear requests.

MA Exec 2:- Hmmm, not sure that is going to work this time. Just look at all the other fluff we have added. It lasts for a day or 2, but the community is severely pissed this time around.

MA Exec 1:- Well, it's either that, or we stop everyone getting there Xmas Bonus this year.

MA Exec 2:- Stuff that, I want my Xmas Bonus.

Well, my 2 pec's (or should that be my 2 Residue) :

I don't do spontaneous team hunts anymore since the new loot distribution.

And in the team hunts with friends ... well, we used to hunt up to the last minute. Now we cut the hunt short, and we spent 15 minutes haggling about how to fairly distribute the loot. Just because it happens all the time, that one gets the 1 cent Oil Residue, and the other gets the 20 PED Oil Stuff. Please give us back the Equal option.

Oh yes, and because of the Alt-Tab issue, we calculate it manually on a post-it note these days. No more Alt-Tabbing to get the Windows calculator up.

That's lost time for you, MA, we are not being productive there ;-)

Wait, it's not Marco that's gonna be examining this according to the post Bertha intercepted, because Marco is the Community RELATIONS Director, whereas the post says "Community Director".



I guess MA created a new position for someone so they can tell us to bend over and take it.

As for the server load, add loot to reduce the number of divide by zero errors.

bertha is a fourm account @ EF and nothing to do with MA.

The account automatically picks up some new items/ support posts on the MA website and posts them here for us to see, just incase we dont check MA's website that often.

Team settings dont work as they are. We need equal to be put back in place.

You cant hunt except on leader takes all and known reliable team members and then split at end.

So much for the social aspect of team hunting with new friends. This surely HAS to be changed and quickly.

My question is when they have proven so often they don't give a flying sh*t about us as customers or our opinions why do we actually think there is any chance in hell of them changing this back within our lifetime? If there was a chance they would fix things before implementing stupid changes that most people voted against.

This new loot system is unacceptable, period.

MA find yourself a way to handle the extra computations, it's in your own best interest believe me. The majority of my time in this game has been spent in team hunts. I've never seen a lack of performace that was worse that this loot distribution issue and BTW Marco I'd happily take some loot lag over this.

Do us a favor and show us that you do care what we (the ppl who pays your salary) have to say, fix this quickly!

I agree that the team rules don't work well as they are now but there does seem to be a lot of unneccessary bad feeling in the replies here.

It's a thread sucked from the EU site by a forum bot ffs and it should be seen as a (small) victory that MA have actually posted something on their site acknowledging there are issues with the new system.

Before the team rules arrived (or the team option at all) all team hunts were based on an element of trust and somebody calculating and dividing the spoils at the end. OK we seem to have now taken a step backward in this respect but maybe it was a temporary measure to accommodate the new loot system. They are clearly publicly taking notice of our concerns so file a support case and shift it up their priority list.

I just find it sad that so many threads get filled with snide comments about MA and Marco rather than anything constructive.
