The post basicly states that they are evaluating the system as it is now. That means that they are looking for ways to improve it. And they ask the community for input for this.
What else do ya want them to do? Just make a change again in the hope the community likes it this time? |

I am following this thread (and others) closely. The changes to the team loot was made mainly for technical reasons (performance-wise). To keep Entropia as safe and secure as possible a lot of technical aspects are to be considered, in terms of transaction-integrity and verification of each and every item transaction (this includes the merge and split of items in item stacks). As the statement said, we are evaluation this change closely. We are very much aware of the reactions from you guys, on every level within MA, from top to bottom, but we need to evaluate this in order to reduce "loot lag" in the system.

Here is another idea for teamsetting:
Make EVERYONE in EU one big team. When a creature is killed, it would be like everyone that helped kill that mob, was looting it on their own, but the loot recieved only corresponds the damage damage done by that person. Example: Person one does 400HP and person two does 200 HP. When the mob is looted, it would be like person one is looting a mob of 400HP and person 2 is looting a mob of 200HP. The drawback would be that teamglobals are no longer possible. It can be that one person gets a global, and another nothing. But thats how it basicly works atm too. The advantage is that killstealing is no longer an issue. The other idea is ofcourse to split stacks in team, either equally, or determined by damage. The best would be that these two systems coexist together, and that stacksplitting only happens when a team is created. |
