Tonight on Swedish national TV (Channel 4) at 22:35 local time, in the debate programme "Rosenberg" todays topic is "Du sköna nya värld" (Brave New World) and it is about virtual worlds, including Entropia and others. Just to let you know. =)

Actually "Brave New World" is a novel made by Aldous Huxley from 1932 (?), describing a future dystophric world, much in the same vein as "1984" (but yet completely different) and the Swedish title of the novel is "Du sköna nya värld". That's why. So the translation is correct based on the correlation between a "bleak future" of sorts.

Yes and so Rosenberg said in the beginning of the program. But what you wrote in your initial post made it sound like a translation, you did not mention that the program was named after a book and I'm sure there are a lot of people who have (had) no idea that, that book exists.

Yes Ernst seems pretty cool. Or, at least he spoke the truth when he described Entropia Universe and all the other virtual worlds as kapitalistic dictatorships (the game manufacturers representing the dictator in that case).


And I do wonder what it would be like if someone tried a sociallistic approach.
