It's probably because they are afraid of being sued or arrested for breaking and entering since the apartment owners are paying rent.

Hmm i better make prints from MyItems and compapare them on a dialy basis. You know how much crap i keep in my apts? If something is missing I probably wouldn't even notice it (before long).

The items mentioned aren't lost per se, they are still on the server and associated with your account. The issue is that your client cannot see or access the "lost" items.

If anyone had any doubt:

The storage can hold 500 items just as the description says.
But you can only see less then half (might be 200) of them. So if you add more and more items you will loose sight of some, but you can still add items. If you want your items back all you have to do is remove a few items from the storage until you can see the item you wanted.

Thanks for the info. Now can anyone explain why it is this way? I can sort of see playing hide and go seek after 480 items or so by why at 200 and the nasty message about losing items?

If it's to sell boxes then I would have still bought a few by now and not TT'd all that stuff that wouldn't fit in storage any more

Forgo has been missing his items in his CND apartment for a few days now. Happened once, he set to private, then public and it fixed it. Now all gone again and has been for a couple of days now. I went there, shows that there's a number of items in the apartment but I didn't see anything either. Set public/ private, re-logged etc.. several times. He has put in 3 support tickets with no response

The really bad thing is that all of his crafting supplies are in there. He usually makes and sells several mining amps per day and is losing a lot by not being able to get his stuff. I'm just shocked that it's over 24 hours with no response as I personally think that's unacceptable given the type of issue.

I hope MA gets right on this and am posting this here in the hopes it gets someones attention. I also hope they see how much he's lost over the past couple of days given his prior crafting habits/patterns and in some way makes this up to him.

Also note - He'll be leaving CND as soon as he gets his stuff due to the problem. That also has to have an effect on ND as Forgo goes up there and mines and hunts a lot.

Hmmm this harkens back to the infamous "beauty shop incident" discussed on here some months ago. Not a new problem, methinks, but at least it's apparently getting some attention now.

Sorry to be the bearer of even more bad news, but I had the same thing happen, everything dissappear from apt. It fixed itself after the big crash just before the new VU came in. I sent support tickets in on Dec
9th (I believe it was) & again on the 12th, and just got a reply from them Dec 20th.

I also have a painting missing from my CND apt, sent support Dec 12, an still no acnowledgement from MA that they even have looked at my ticket.

IMHO MA needs to pick up there feet an move a lot faster on support tickets,
the ones where everything is missing from ones apt or inventory should have first priority, as it, in most cases, it effects the Avatars being able to play in game. Can't get to your stuff....can't make peds to play.

lol i lost a display pannel on the wall of my flat and to their credit
ma transfered them to my storage realy quickly

went back to my flat to put them back up

and NOOOOOOO empty

tried the public private thing an reloging no luck
filed a support so fingers crossed ill have sum furniture
for my cristmass party lol

but i will say i did panic a just a bit lol
