There are different maturities of animal, each harder and more expensive to kill than the previous... (young, mature, old, provider, guardian, etc etc). So why does it seem that the higher maturities loot the worst? One should recieve more loot / more items from higher maturities than from youngs for instance, but it does not appear to be this way.
Where is the incentive to skill up, to spent money on equipment to kill higher maturities if one can get the same or better loot from low maturity animals? |

I have developed a security modification to the existing login/password system, which is already used by an international medical company (no name, by contract) and is on it's way into the "Danske Bank" netbanking system as I type.
I own this system technology and offered it to Mindark in exchange for some 0 TT items, but they declined politely. The idea is that players can buy some virtual gadget that locks their account with this extra security feature which cannot be snooped by keyloggers. With the majority of players not having or wanting the gold card for 200 PED, this little feature could be purchased for say 50 ped and is activated immediately. I got a nice reply from Mindark (thank you btw stating that they wish to continue with only the gold card system since it's obviously some banking standard.. SmartCard security is not a homebanking standard, it's a company and insurance standard. <- not the point, but important.The security I offer is not a 100% guarantee, but it is a great enhancement to old login/pass system. I don't really care if Mindark choose to ignore this technology before it hits mainstream, but if they add it, EU will be the first "game" to offer that high level of security. Since we are talking of $$ here, I found it only natural to address the playerbase rather than just letting the idea fade away into obscurity. Imagine 30.000 people want to buy that security feature, 30k x 50 ped = 15.000 USD. The cost of implementation should not be more than half of that by MA's own personell. License fee = 0 TT, sense of security for the playerbase = Priceless. So Marco, the question is; Why not? The bandwagon is about to take off, and you are not aboard it. (If you own something virtual worth more than say 500 - 1000 USD, GET A GOLDCARD!!!) |

When will eventlike lag issues be handles ?
Explanation of the question: Examples like events of the unique axe, the rig run, Landgrab. As it has been for the last +3 years every event with +50 ppl and lots of mobs at one spot had been unplayable. Afterall EU is suppose to be in the genre of MMORPGS, but ever since I started +4 years ago the MM (Massive Multiplayer) part has been omitted. I and I know alot of other people see this as THE number one priority to fix. |

After Axe 1x0 nerf and Opalo, or should I say Amp nerf, are made what you blame it now that the loot in general is so bad for the playerbase?
UEBER FAPS? - UEBER WEAPONS? - UEBER CRAFTERS - UEBER ATH for the same set of players - Or maybe the Resellers / LA or Spacestation Owner who are the only one aside MindArk who take out money on a regular base out of EU? You have the numbers - up to now when you changed something you allways have targeted the big mass of midlevel players I think when will others get a nerf? For example make the cost of heals more balanced: ATM there is one set of FAP's with Eco 0,5 to 10 heal per Pec and one set with 25 to 160 heal per Pec now that is insanely unbalanced isnt it? Wouldnt it still be a UEBER tool with 4 pec cost per Heal on a MOD/IMP Fap would be still 30 to 40 heal per pec and 300% to 400% better ECO than the next best FAP in ECO (FAP-5 lol) and 500% to 800% better than a decent other FAP (FAP-69 EMT-2600). Ah and now with new VU most important question: After >11K Drone 1 and Atrax Old. Quote:

Questions about events:
1. When will respawn rate of mobs be fixed during events? Since kinda hilarious to try to host nice events for community if there isnt any mobs left after 5-15min of shooting in LA. No problem with Big mobs and 10 or 20 participants, but above 20 participants LA will be wiped clean. 2. During events ranking event and giving out rep points ends up to CTD maby with 40% of players. This needs a fix too. 3. Option for event creator to limit points genetated by one loot, like max 20/50/100 ped counted to event points. So most loot option would be interesting to end of event. Since now it seems to work just like highest single option. As we all know 1000ped loots are kinda rare. So if one event participant get 1000ped loot in first 5min it kinda kills the fun of event. These 3 are main lacks in event system atm. And have been known issues for a long time... More detail info in support cases that i have sent. -Zap |

As far as I know you can't do this at the moment, which is a real kick in the teeth for those that keep the lead for most of the event and get usurped in the closing minutes due to a lucky global. Question : What is the skill "Metallurgy" doing in the mining tab ?
You can't get skill increases by mining, so based on that, it doesn't seem to belong on the mining tab. So does this skill have any effect on mining efficiency ? PS : I know this has been discussed on EF but all answers are speculation from EU users, and I'd like to see some confirmation by MA. Thanks in advance ! |
