Actually, I ran a system like this with great success. The million ped requirement is good as well, as there is no sense in designing and placing a new building complete with NPC's and a price list if the owner cant afford to run the company.



One question: Will others be able to make interest generating player to player loans with items as security without violating the new EULA, or will anyone loaning peds be required to have a license?

I wonder if the exchange buildings will start working then? Since atm we have my two pecs and pe auction as source for up to market prices outside of Entropia.....?

No doubt you did well, my friend... My point was that it would have been better to provide a means of mortgaging items or land so that the player can have other options for paying off the loan outside of deposits or blind luck...

but if you sell it then you justhave to buy it back later at a higher price then what you sold it for

i can see people need a fix for a day or two geting a loan on there ghost harness for 130 peds to get that one last hunt in

but a better question

who will get the banks that has maybe 2 million peds available
1million for the bank and 1 million collateral

N00b suddenly has debt, and you have money.

Buy/loot more stuff. Rinse. Repeat.

Hopefully I'm misunderstanding the rules and this situation can't happen.
