Hello all!

Welcome to a very exciting autumn for Project Entropia. MindArk PE AB is getting ready to launch a great expansion, with a new development team, new hardware, and a marketing campaign to enter Project Entropia into the mind of the public. We have shown that the business model of Project Entropia is a viable one and the one for the future.

We are slowly working on adding an automatic system for adding yourself to the Portal page. We are also developing a system to enter Community Events in which you as a participant may advertise your event in the Project Entropia client to all other participants. More on this later on as they go live.

Do you have a favorite hangout on the web where you feel Project Entropia should be seen? A place that would benefit from getting information from MindArk concerning Project Entropia and its development? If you do, please send to me at the contact information to that site and we will contact them to see if they are interested.

We are also launching a new contest. This time it is to make a superb movie about Project Entropia. The focus of the movie is to show what Project Entropia is to the general public, and not only to hardcore gamers. See it as a future piece, possibly replacing the EBN/Sayah King trailer on the main page. I know that the community is full of vibrant ideas and have more brainpower than we have here in the studio, so come on and show us you can make the best presentation movie there is about Project Entropia.

Some areas that must be covered in the movie is the real economy and the links to the real world currency, the ability to make real money, the basic back-story of Project Entropia and Calypso (being pioneering colonists), and the social aspect of the virtual universe. And above all – it must look exciting, hot, and desirable. ,-)

The end credits must show a link to the Project Entropia web site.

The rules are simple. The date it must be completed is December 1st 2005. The movie may not contain any copyrighted material such as music. We therefore supply a dozen Project Entropia music tracks for you to use in this zip archive (roughly 35 Mb in size, in .mp3 format). The film should not be longer than four minutes; preferable it should be around three minutes or less. The movie may at most be 500 Mb in size and be in high-resolution AVI or WMV format.

Once you feel you have completed the movie you upload it to our FTP site (address soon announced). Then you supply me with an email at with a note about the movie you have uploaded.

Please make sure that if you use written text in the movie, that it is in correct and proofed English. You may enter as many different contributions as you like.

Please note that when you enter the competition you also relinquish any and all rights to the movie and you may not distribute it, unless an agreement is made between the participant and MindArk PE AB.

A jury consisting of MindArk staff and PR- and advertising professionals will be reviewing the movies and announce the winner before Christmas 2005. The jury’s decision cannot be opposed.

The winner will receive a full set of high-end Supremacy Armor and a secret item (with an expected total market value of several tens of thousands PED) as prize, and will be announced by name if desired to the public.

What are you waiting for – get those movies going! ,-)

Just to be clear on the music... It is mentioned that no copyrighted materials can be used. Do you want only the downloadable music in the movie, or can we use the sounds on our hard drives... or even music that we write ourselves?
