can I just ask who Kitty is? I've seen her on EF forum but I don't know anything about her and everyone has been mentioning her name in relation to this comp. Has she made movies before, if so were can I find some of her work?

EDIT: Marco is it possible to use copyrighted music, if permission to use it is achieved from the copyright owner? In this case what proof do we have to provide that we have permission to use.

do a little search here on EF, he's got s few great LG-movies for example. Also the 7th most repped here on EF, under the name of ZarathustrA

640x480, 800x600, or full ingame res 1024x768 ?

Holy shit! What a great competetion, and I mean great! This is something EVERYONE can have a go of. Hats of to Marco and the Team. I may have a dabble, it's doubtful, but possible.
The fact that MA value the contribution the movie makers have made so far, and that they liked the work so much they opened up this to everyone is just wonderfull.

Kit is one of a kind
He (female avi) is my advisor in The Jaded Crown. A great player, and even better person. And his movies/commercials for PE are astonishing... really great things that he can do... original ideas, great concepts, fabulous music, etc... you get the idea.

Ya, of course I'm partial to Kitty and can't wait to see what he comes up with...

I think there are so many great "film-makers" amidst us in the PE community... I'm really looking forward to seeing the winner and their finishing product

It should be watchable and pleasing to the eye. I am no movie tech guy so I don't know about resolution. It should be at least as crisp as the highest resolution PE Presentation movie (EBN/Sayah King, 1Mbit) one.

As to not using the music supplied, I have to get back to you on that. The idea was to use the supplied music, but any cool idea that is workable is being considered. Send me a PM or email and make a proposition. =)
