hear hear!! .. This way, "repair" crafters cant just specialize in roaming repairs. They actually have to spend time at the terminals losing % and gaining residue like everyone else. =))

Residue used to repair items would be cool once the robots hack the repair terminals, making them useless.

When crafting stackables like mechanic components I found when the slider was set to 'Condition' i had .. 10-15 failures in a row.. convinced it wasnt working, I set the bar back to 'Quantity' and got 6 (6?!) filters.

Then again, maybe the slider bar only works if you add residue.. Im still a little foggy.

Who said that if the bar is 90% full that the you have a 90% chance?
In the Success algorithim 90% full could mean 50% CoS?

And yes you have to use residue to affect the itmes with the slider bar.

Before all I knew was that my Chance of Success was excellant, but still had many failers. With the new Sucess bar I can now see that I am still not at the highest level of Success for that paticular item.

the coloring bar is maybe little more "acurate" , but for me acurate mean i can see a little easy.
but right its kinda more dificult to see any change.since there is not a real marck or graduation.
there are som little stripe put in kinda ramdom place.
i would prefer something like with beaty and a % write in clear or the bar graduate with %.
something i can read with out draw marck on my screen because MA never use what they do.

about the vaselin slider , in tailoring you can put as mutch residu as you whant , if you put it on "condition" you do not take item..
if you put residu and vaselin slider on "quantity" then you get full item ( if enought residu).
maybe its buged now , or maybe it dont work in tailoring or maybe...

Etropia - Relax, the full crafting enhancements are not known yet. Until the new Perm-decay BP's drop, and some quality testing is carried out on the new system - your jumping the gun on your prognosis. At present we know the following

Cosmetic/Graphic changes
1) new crafting books
2) new crafting module
3) new COS graphic bar

New Features
1) New condition/Quantity slider bar: mainly for use with new limited perm decay Bps. As these items cant be repaired, the higher the condition the more then are worth. All of the legacy bps should use quantity setting.
2) BP’s not counted as items
3) BP books can be placed in storage
4) Combined all low level bps into one book
5) Auto stacking of crafted items

1) new limited item BP’s (perm decay)
2) new reconditioning feature – ie how to imp/adj etc a object
3) effects on skill gains
4) effects on COS

Can you take a couple of chill pills while we try figure out ALL the changes.

MA could only do 1 of the both , they do both nice , but its for same result , reduce item counting in inventaire.

this is what is was before VU , and i hope it will become again.
right now i got for exemple 2 BP lvl1 in 1 book and 1 bp lvl1 in the other book.its the same for all lvl .. only 1 lvl on the 10 lvl count in tailoring is at good place , that the lvl 2.

it was allready like that , like item while hunting , MA just change when it was stacking.
i would prefer 1 bouton in inventaire and 1 button in storage to autostack my item.


btw , i not worry , i total dont mind...
i just see that as it will still hard for new crafter and taillor to do something in game vs the old player.

Not certain if some1 has posted this yet here- but we noticed that finally there is some additional newbie content help.... in towns when you scroll over anything (tt, rep term, soc term, etc) it shows a question mark in the hud which tells you a description of the thing and how to utilize it... thought it was rather cool

That info thing is about to drive me insane.....or at least get me closer than I already am
