with regards to a lending system - I'd rather see MA offer up a system where we can rent items from THEM and not other players. Go visit a TT - look through a weapon that you want to try out - and purchase it for a 24 hour period. Loan costs would increase based on the tier of the item.
Want to try out a Kat Honor? That will cost you 10 PEDs for a day. Want to try out a IMP Mk2? That will cost you 1000 PEDs for a day. |

EU attracts would-be investors in order so that THEY can make money. What's the point of a Real Cash Economy for participants if the business of loaning items (where in some cases people pay tens of thousands of USD) for is run by the EU TT. |

I want a loan system. A friend of mine loaned a firestorm chip and never got it back. The avatar just gave it to there second avatar (we can't prove who it is) and disappeared.
Perhaps a 10 percent fee per day of the items maximum TT value would be a way to control the loaning/renting of items? MA makes money on loan fee and decay. Upper end items that are already rare won't be loaned often because it is not economically worth it. |

Also, I think it's a nice effort on MA's part to make announcements like this to help participants, especially new arrivals, protect themselves from being taken advantage of. |

time, time, time, Crone is always busy, he thinks it's the same with MA. When you spend more, they'll hire more staff and implement things sooner.
And... 711: MA did put in some kind of loan system, we call it banklicenses. No Crone wonders when a "savings system" is being add. |

Thus, I fail to see how this qualifies as a loan system as people have been describing and wishing for in this thread. ![]() |

I think a lending system would be easily implemented. Set it up as a button u click on the trade window to make it a lending trade the item is then traded to buyer. The item is marked as a loan item that is not tradable to other avs or tt able or dropable and will automatically return to the sellers inventory after a set amount of time or a set amount of decay applied to the item . it would be very easy to do then of course their would be the problem of people clicking on the lend button without the buyer knowing.making the buyer pay full price with the assumption the item was now theirs when really its set to return to the seller in set time or set decay. so it would be easy enough for MA to set up but it would also cause a whole new host of problems and complaints when it comes to player to player trading. so its more hassle then they want to deal with.
