The procedure on their dutch website is not linked correctly. You are redirected to a non-existent site: http://online.ukash.com, but is should be https. Just add the S before the colon and it should work.

There are no outlets like there are in Germany. And if I read the Dutch-language site correctly, it seems like there never will be. Only electronic transfers of money, not a cash payment option for Ukash cards.

Yep same here. I have one corner shop in the whole of my town that does UKash. I'm just waiting for them to ask what it's used for... how to explain

It is kind of a mixed offering. You can either pay electronically, or deposit money at a fortis bank office. When your payment is received by ukash you will receive either an SMS message or email (whatever you specified) with a code. This code is your key to depositing into EU.

So no, you cannot buy a 25 Euro ukash card or something. But you do get to deposit cash without the need of a credit card or even a bank account. All you need is cash and an email address or cell phone.

at least you didn't have the problem of trying to get the young Polish girl to ask the old Indian guy what you were talking about, after 10 minutes of free English lessons I gave up and went to a Co-Op where the confused wifey behind the counter swore blind that they didn't sell it, never have done, probably never will.

I have to agree with you on every point here with the exception that I haven't found another shop, it's just that I have now trained all the staff at my local shop how to do it
