You only get one + 200 ammo at your first ukash deposit. So if the promotion deal was not available at the time of your first deposit, then you missed the chance.

Worked for me without a problem, I had my avatar out in the fields (no ammo left), deposited the ukash, logged in and had the rifle + 200 ammo in my inventory.

Not too sure what to do with it though. Keep it brand new and sell it to someone that can actually benefit from it, or keep it as an opalo alternative...

Curious...

1.Do you bypass the 3.5 fee when you deposit via Ukash (as opposed with your CC)?

2. Do they ask you for personal information when your buying it?

3. Is there a charge (fee) when you buy Ukash at the store?

Hi Mikah,

the ukash voucher is as is. You buy one at a shop (or by bank transfer) and you pay the amount you get the voucher for. When you enter the amount and voucher number in EU.com you will get PEDs without having to pay the CC percentage.

I have only tried this with euro's and pounds, without a visible fee. Maybe the exchange rate is slightly in their advantage, but I have no reference material. Since you are in the US I think you can do a USD -> PED transfer at a rate of 1:10. Do they have outlets for the vouchers in the US? If you have to buy using a bank transfer, there maybe some money involved there (for the banks).

Now how does Ukash earn their money then... I am not too sure, but I guess MA is paying them a fee for offering this opportunity to pump money into EU.

No we dont have Ukash here and I think the bank transfer also has a fee, I have been looking for a way to transfer peds and avoiding the fees, simply because Im frugal and I want the most out of my $ ^^.

I get a % charge using UKash.

I wonder into the corner shop, pay £10 to the man, and get a £10 UKash voucher.

I toddle off home, log into EU, and hit the Deposit thing. Select UKash and get the UKash screen. I enter £10 and key in the code.

It then tells me that X ammount of peds will be transferred to my card and the fee for the transaction is X peds.

So I certainly pay a % for the transaction, but it is less than a CC % and much handyier

If my memory serves me correct, there was no fee. I'm going to epoist again on the 1st so can report back again.

I put a tener in yesterday (£10 UKash) and got 184 ped or so and about a 6ped transaction fee.

My ukash deposit the other day did not show a fee.

Depo'd 15 GBP
Exchange rate: 19.34
Result: 290.16 PED

No mention of a fee. I deposited via the entropiauniverse.com website.
