The "curiousity" of the community is that there has been discussion for a few days now about several of the US Banks blocking MasterCard payments to MA as it is listed on the "Watch Lists" of sorts as being a possible on-line gambling site.

I cannot confirm that it is MasterCard exclusively, or how widespread it is, but I do know that for a short time, my bank was not authorizing any credit card payments to MA, either Visa or MC, until I sat down with them and got MA off their personal "gambling site" list.

The two problems are likely not even related, but you know how communities can be.

Either way, I hope it all gets worked out soon.

Thanks for the update Marco--BTW I requested a list of banned internet sites from mastercard based on the thread linked in the above post--I recieved that list this morning and there is no mindark or entropia listings on it. Some real crazy other stuff, but not my beloved game

No, sorry Marco, Mastercard is not the one experiencing problems, their interface is complex but pretty damn solid, after all one of the largest financial organisations in the world is unlikely to run out of bandwidth or adapt their schema to a merchant, I think DIBS is having problems really, just a thought from someone who works with Mastercard
