I think we have all established that Marco's statement was, at best, ludicrous. I won't even dignify it with comment. The topic is the clarification posted by Bertha, and is the only message with any official bearing on the subject.

And, they have yet to shut down any unlicensed but reputable "bankers".
Those who shut down did it of their own accord. Others are still operating.
If any of those have actually been locked out, they were very likely scammers and were locked when reported to MA as such.

Ah, But they have locked accounts of reported scammers. They just don't give back the stuff you got scammed out of.

Because they have stated that they have and will lock out scammers when they have evidence to back up the accusations. I also know that certain avatars who have been accused of scamming have "ceased to exist" within EU. Likely evidence of the account being locked. Perhaps they just stopped logging on, and perhaps the owner acquired another Avi, but THAT Avi is no longer scamming anyone.

Because they have stated this, as well. and they did so to me in the support case I opened when scammed, and I did not get the items returned.

If they do return scammed items, it is not a regular occurrence, and they must have felt there was a reason to do so.

That this is both protection and education?
Well one avi no longer scamming is protecting potential victims of that avi, and unless the scammed avi is owned by a complete moron, that owner should have learned to be more careful.

The stance is all trades are final... that is the stance because in this setting MA does not have the resources to backlog all the tickets. However If you read around... if it is over 1k.... they will flex thier muscle for you...
