My personal wish would be that all the graphical effects are far more scalable then they are right now. E.g. there could be a checking routine about what kind of load the graphics card can handle to still be able to display e.g. 20 FPS minimum. And if my machine simply can't handle grass waving in the wind, high-quality textures, a horizon far away, etcetcetc. then please reduce the effects. Even better do this dynamically. E.g. in PA around the TP there's no need to calculate and draw the entire horizon. Just draw the nearby stuff (especially all avis with whatever action they're performing at the very time) and that's it. And when I'm in the field with close to no objects around me then show the entire horizon, add waving grass, ...

As I said in an earlier post, I think its great to have a new engine to run EU. But with that said, I hope MA keep throwing us updates whith the new engine. We guess the new engine will be online at erliest summer next year, thats means that we want screens or even small vids of the progress to adapt current EU to new engine EU

Has any1 else seen the cryengine2 video? I just watched it and all i can say holy ******* ***** ****** or (wow). Im wondering if EU is actually gonna look like this with this engine. If so, look out all other mmo's cause its over. MA's RCE mixed with this engine I think it would make vehicles easier to implement as well. 2008 seems so far away Is any1 else as excited as I am?

The CryEngine2 Demo isn´t new for me, it has been around for some while on http://www.crytek.com

BUT...it´s indeed a very impressive engine. This engine will bring EU to the next level

for sure it looks nice but new engine = new parts for comp, i am already running on min. requirements and if i need new parts i should buy proper ones(atleast as good as in optimal requirements) and thats gonna cost money so i am excited but my excitements lvl gets lower if i need those new parts
