I recently (like a month ago) got a new pc with these specs:

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+
Windows Vista Home Premium
20" Black Wide Flat Panel Monitor
2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 Memory
320GB SATA Hard Drive
256MB ATI Radeon X1300 graphics card

As I know bugger all about PC's can any one tell me is this likely to be able to run it?

Nice engine choice. How did MA come to choose this one ? NetCode will have to be specifically optimized for EU abilities i think. So i guess MA will end their contract with Gamebryo, but what will happens with physics (still AGEIA or not ?) ?

For the need of hardware upgrade, i suppose the annoucement was made in time, and this show the futur for EU : both aren't bad ( pretty awesome).
However, an engine isn't all, i expect to see the Calypso wildlife in improved graphics, but i want to retrieve the specific EU's touch.

PS : Did MA already pay the licence with last event, or will a worse loot season is expected to come soon ?

Thats the news I have been waiting for!! Since my 1st rants began in my early days.. the bugs wich I saw back then (some are still around ofc), I thought to myself... this thing needs a major update..eg; new engine. Posted a few times also, exactly this, "new engine needed".

Thumbs up for this move MA, shows that our € werent spent for some "artists" only. Huraay!!!

Again, the best news ever... here comes +rep my Bertha!!lol

Crisis will be available in 2 versions; one for DX9 and one for DX10. It will be possible to run it on XP but better on Vista. For the computer, look what i have actualy in my link (safe) its my site and its my computers. Actaly its a great computer but for Crisis, i think i will need better.

I just watched a few demos & what got me excited was the Skys.

The Star maps are real Star Maps from Planet Earth - so we see the real Stars / Positions & constalations in Real time (depending on the time set)...

Ohh & the moving clouds,,, wow look amazing......

On a side point this line/words as said 'Partners' seems to be or look like the game or basic set up will be sold / francised & partners can edit there new Planets as they wish in real time...

Very exciting, stuff......

It'll run it, but not ALL the features...once the engine hits next year you might consider a video card upgrade, otherwise, the rest is perfect.
