Entropia Universe Cash Card Update
11 Sept 2007

MindArk apologize for the delay in delivery of the new Entropia Universe Cash Card.

Implementation of the new Cash Card is ongoing; however unforeseen technical complications have delayed its launch. Both MindArk and the Cash Card provider are doing everything possible to expedite this process. We are confident our efforts will result in a secure, inexpensive and enduring service for Entropia participants.

In the mean time, Cash Card holders will continue to be prioritized in the Withdrawals queue.

Once again, MindArk are working to make the service available as soon as possible.

Bit confused now. After it was not available for long time, you can now again buy the Cash Card (TT 250) from the Trade Terminal. If it is not a new card, but an old one, does it mean that you can buy it but cannot use it ?!?

I sincerely hope that the promise about inexpensive will be delivered.

The purchase price of the present (old) card is not so bad, but the charges and fees are bit over the top.

It came with the last VU i think. No, it's not the old one. By buying you're basically placing order to get the new one when they're finally here and ready for shipping.

The inexpensive part makes me curious ... wanted to get the old one as well (before the service went off) but I was still deciding wether 30 ped/month maintenance fee is something for me to agree with ...

My IRL card+account has a maintenance fee of 0.50 euros/month, which I find resonable ... hence, the Entropia card should (at least as I see it) have a monthly maintenance fee at arround 10 ped (1 USD) to make it comparable to others.

But if the deal with the service provider is already instated, why not disclose all of those fees? Peeps have been waiting for quite a while for more "detailed" details about this matter .... Waddaya say Bertha?

MY RL Credit/Debit Cards charge precisely 0 GBP FEE / MONTH

It would be reasonable to think that EU Cash Card will be the same
