Known Issues 9.0.1

Here are a few issues MA didn't realize it introduced when it added the dreaded equip tax.

* you can't repair armor with L plates - or L armor with repairable plates - without unequipping. Players using these hybrid combos are unfairly disadvantaged as they have to always pay the tax to repair.

* when equipping L armor, players pay more than 2 pec/part. For instance, an infiltrator armor sells for 1100% on average. 2 pec decay on each part translates into a market cost of 22 pec and a whopping 1.32 ped overall equip cost. Taking the 2 pec from the ped card rather than the item would solve this problem.

The unfortunate fact that MA didn't foresee these issues is raising worrisome questions in my mind, about the deepness of everything else in EU, the future of the $20,000 spent in the game in the past 6 months alone, and the feasibility of clicking the "Log In" button again.

EDIT: with that I mean the whole 2 pec situation, not just the fact that you cant wear hats and shades under your helm

Same goes with shoes and foot-guards. Shoes are removed when foot guards are equipped.

First of all, i've bitched and complained about past up-dates, but this one takes the cake..

A MAJOR PILE OF CRAP...

1. Crash to desk top about twice each hour, some times more.

2. This 2 pec BS

3. Spend over an hour getting my avatar getting to look just like I wanted it to, and when I get into game i'm a freaking freak. The bottom half of the body is ok, (ass way to big) but ok, but the top half is a freak, a small elf on top of a giant...THIS MAJOR SUCKS...

4. ??? a foot armour ??? GOD, ???? you guys are not making enought? You have to jack up the cost of playing ???? talk about greedy....

5. Inventory, you take the time to get all the paints in one place, the wool, in another, and so on...then you sign back on and the inventory it all screwed up?? another hour or two to fix it???...that again is BS

6. Why add more...there are many..but way even make this post...


Dudes...and Ladies..

No jokes, not kidding, this is about it for me, when another game comes on line...not mentioned any names of course, just wonder what life will be after this one....i'm going to have about 160k skills for sell and a ton of 'nice' equipment to sell, and of course, not putting any more money into this black hole..

Honestly realistically, do you realllyy truly actually believe that things will get better and all rosy?

IMHO and considering the big picture and MA's track record, expect nothing but more of the same.

For me there's not much reason to login anymore except to put my stuff up on auction and chip out.

I am sorry i am killing you Just verified and it is still broken in VU 9.0.1, shoes still get removed when equipping foot guards and in order to prevent walking around wearing shoes you have to equip them again (with the obvious side-effect).

On the other hand the foot guards do give me an opportunity to loot some nice markup items again. So there is a positive side to this

So you really think this will be changed back? People have looted shadow feet, this change can not be reverted. How would those people be compensated?

An important and worrying question. The introduction of foot guards is a serious problem and, unlike the 2 pec tax, I can't see any possible way of undoing it now that we have got to this stage.

Yes.
I think that it could be changed back and almost certainly would if it were not for the 2 pec armor/clothes decay. Too many people are too pissed off about that.
I expect the 2 pec decay bullshit to go away the same as the stupid 50% condition on tt weapons but by then enough people will have looted armored feet to push through the armored feet deal forever.
This will tie up millions of peds ingame and MA will get what they wanted all along, more money than they got from the sale of CND without having to make a new CND.
