Hi everyone who is wondering why the armour looks worse after VU9.0.
I't because you don't have a good enough card ... period.

I have what I thought was a good card (X550) but it only supports shader 2.0 and therefore can't ever give the full Entropia experience.

Also most Intel based integrated chipsets now give you a grey AVA or no visuals apart from the buttons.

SO I will be putting a nice new card on my Christmas list, but I think ELLE will now retire because her PC can't take a shader 3.0 card. Shame we are losing players because the game needs continuous IT upgrades.

Totally mad IMO - other games play well and look great on my card.

why cant her PC take shader 3.0 card? older "AGP only" motherboard in it?
There exists Shader 3.0 capable AGP card.. Nvidia Geforce 7800GS
Different story is finding one from stores as its more than year old and out of production afaik
but warning.. Avoid Geforce 7900GS, its has similar name but its for PCI-e only

Elles motherboard only has two PCi slots (used) and a couple of small PCi express slots that I can't find a card for

They are not nice PCIe 16 like on my gigabyte board
