Well,

I just wanted to tell everyone a fwe things regarding being an ambassador.

1) You MUST be personable. You WILL talk to a lot of people. The whole idea is to bring more people into EU, and have a good showing for the press.

2) It is a trully fun experiance. You'll get to meet some of the MA staff, and other players. I made quite a few friends from people in game, but I made a ocuple more when I went to E for All.

3) Your feet will hurt, your voice will be shot.


I may or may not go. My wife is due to have our baby in January, and I've been told I can't go. Depending on the situation, I may go out there and do a few (more) interviews.

I look forward to seeing some more of you, if not, someone MUST do some more interviews.

I'm sure there will be something in the UK before long.

However, it's a great show of strength to have worldwide ambassadors to Entropia Universe at an event. Shows the dedication and following the Entropia Universe has. Just a thought.

My thoughts exactly akiran. would be beneficial for them to have ambassadors from across the pond and not just american people (nothing against america lol just saying it may seem more appealing that ppl have flown across the world to promote a game)

but if 711 suggests that theyre only looking at people from america kinda puts you off posting...

Mindark used the same selection process for the Leipzig convention, choosing German-speaking ambassadors who were geographically close to the convention location (Germany).

It only makes sense to use American ambassadors for a convention in the US, both from a budget standpoint (since MA pays travel and hotel expenses) and to have native speakers in the local language.

Last time I was in Vegas my English was way better than every taxi driver, bellboy, waitress and dealer I talked to.

My Spanish was a bit worse than theirs I have to admit

So I dare to disagree that local people by default do a better job in talking to visitors from around the globe.
