MindArk staff including CIO Marco Behrmann, CMO Carl Uggla and Marketing & PR Rep Frank Campbell attended the Virtual World's Forum in London.

The pan-European virtual worlds confex connected brands, major corporations, digital and virtual worlds agencies, media and entertainment players and games companies, technology suppliers, analysts and commentators, lawyers, regulators and venture capitalists and all those harnessing the power of virtual worlds to engage with clients, suppliers or customers. The event had over 450 attendees from 23 countries.

It should be Virtual Worlds Forum, with no apostrophe in "Worlds". I am saddened that a successful global company like MindArk is unable to produce correct basic English in their press releases.

As long as "Entropia Universe" or "Mindark" doesn't show up in articles dedicated to MMORPGs I think this is just a minor issue.

I mean EU is the only RCE-game out there and the big media companies don't refer to it?????

MA should do more "we-are-here!!!!!!"-things, not some "erm,-hello-so-uhm"-appearances.

I'd get used to it… in almost every press release, piece of news or information that I’ve ever read from MindArk, or from their PR agents, there has always been a handful of basic English grammar mistakes. To try and point them all out would be futile.

I can forgive Swedish based MindArk, but California based “Terpin Communications” seems to do no better.

I've read plenty of articles on Entropia Universe from both dedicated MMORPG websites, and major media conglomerates (including in many national and international newspapers).

EU also isn’t the only “RCE-game out there”, I could name several, however, the rules of this forum forbid that.

It's just that they should be able to do better. If you're going to hire someone to write press releases and be a public relations rep for a global market, at least get someone who can speak and write the lingua franca properly.

I agree, the sad irony is that I know for a fact that MindArk employ several native English speakers. How hard can it really be to get one of those guys to quickly read over any text before it is released to the public? It’s been a little pet gripe of mine for a while, although reading these forums one will soon discover it’s probably one of MA’s least important criticisms in the grand scheme of things. There are much more important changes the business could make in the meantime.

It was an interesting venue and conference I have to say, was sitting behind Marco, Carl and a new starter at MA (apologies forgotten his name!).
Snapped a few pictures but they were poorer quality than this one. Plus interesting presentation from Frank who was on the panel with a few other related virtual worlds.

And not try to BS the whole world with comments about things that NOT exists in EU atm . As a MA rep. said in the video on the homepage. "The participants in EU "MAKES" money which they withdraw with their own EU cashcards ??? Ya RIGHT!!! If i remember correctly they havent worked since early 2006 ! Furthermore Jan Wellter himself said the same BS in an Interwiew with Swedish newspaper "Dina Pengar" on Aug 8. He also claimed the "AVERAGE" player MAKES and withdraws with the cashcards that NOT exists 20 K Peds !!!!!!! MONTHLY ??? This i false marketing of the worst kind. Cant help to wonder WHY they spread such BS ??? Do they belive we are complete idiots ???? i know of NO ONE who even once withdrew 20 K peds, but i know of heaps of players who deposited even 10 times that amount. All this lies from MA starts to get on my nerves
