I revived to the outpost and decided I'd had enough of this 'event', so started to TP back to Minopolis. On the way I landed in a bunch of merps and tants and let them kill me since I was near to the TP anyway.

After dying it took me over 5 minutes to revive. I thought I'd made it at one point but the white screen faded into the same spot, with my corpse still lying there among the merps. After I'd finally made it to Minopolis, it took me another couple of minutes before I made it to the TP and finally got out of there.

These so-called 'events' are an absolute joke.

Marco, or anyone from MA who bothers reading this: it's not rocket science to make a good event, all it takes is a little bit of creativity. The players have done it on many occasions, why can't you? Dumping a load of big mobs in one place is not an event. If you must take this route, try to make sure that your server resources are capable of handling it, eh?

This IMO is an accurate desciption... a damn shame it works like this. Oleg - you bring up a good point there about players making better events than this crap. Maybe MA should just leave US to the event planning and execution!!

The Boorum Cave is accessed through a side passage out of Thorkell's tomb under the deer building in New Oxford.

The Statue is on the top of a tall mountain at Eudoria 6600, 14000.

I just thought that I would mention that during this time I also had excessive rubberbanding, massive loot lags, and a ridiculous amount of misses west of Camp Caravan on boths sides of the river. I eventually got bumped off the server. I'm guessing that this area is on the same server.

That's the whole point of their event system.
They just provide the universe, it's up to the players to make the story.

2 Bad to forgot to implement the skill "Manufacture Event Boss" (DNA+Fertilizer?).

Nothing happend at the statue, no one was there, the actual coords are 6593 13983, few meters over and you'll have to climb a long way. And the so called "event" at the orb... people who ignored it are the clever ones, because you saved your nerves from that incredible lag and two hours of dull staying under the orb. That totally sucks because of inability of servers to handle such amount of players. To all who missed it - you are the lucky ones.

I know about the event system... and too bad that you must be an estate owner to do that. Like that qualifies someone to plan a good event

Is owning an estate still a requirement... been a while since I tried

I've followed the notes from the start, I was at the first 3 events but I'm glad I missed this one.

I had a feeling something like this would happen again, MA seems to be a one trick pony for large events
