I tried it to, with the same result. I have an old paynova wallet since 2005 or so, but to verify it I would need to make a photocopy of my Credit card, send it to paynova security manager and then when he approves it it would be verified.

As if he don't leave for christmas holiday this year when it's just two work-days . I asked in my support ticket, and added a question about if it would be possible to get a bank payment through before new year, but no reply... so I guess "no".

Here is the deal... I have $30 on my Paynova account. I go through the steps you mentioned and when I get to the end of the transaction I see that to deposit $30 I actually need $33.99

So I guess I transfer more funds to Paynova to deposit less...? This is just a royal screwup and I will probably end up quitting because of it. It seems at every turn there is another obstacle. Either MA wants us as customers or they don't. It is up to them to tell us which way they want to go - and they only seem to communicate throught their actions. So we shall see...

A little update, only about 20 days to go before I can deposit again, IF all goes as planned that is...
Let all think a moment about the great and most of all speedy service the people at MA and Paynova are providing.

Paybycash transfers may take up to 8 days, support will NOT answer any of your requests. Paynova is also acting pretty weird, servers are down all the time and just now I got 10€ on my wallet with no confirms. Wonder how much they could take without asking me...

I haven't been following the latest developments about deposit possibilities, but isn't Ukash an option any more?

(It's really easy to use, you can buy a voucher online through your internet banking, or simply go into one of the authorized shops in your city and get one).

Ukash might indeed be an option for those without a credit card.
My personal problem is that i've already loaded up my paynova account with cash on 12 december, and 13 december the paynova > MA link broke down (sorry, 'is being upgraded').
So i have money in my wallet, stuck there for 1,5 month (supposed to be fixed at 22 january), only because MA / Paynova didn't notice their customers upfront. It's not like they didn't know it would be going down for a long time.

Beside the fact that this is annoying as hell, it's become a matter of principles for me. I'm not gonna do a new deposit while my money is stuck with paynova.
