As a result of those 2 problems, I'd suggest that MA at least put some restrictions for time allowed to play. For example, the choice of EITHER 18:00-22:00 as hunting time or 22:00-2:00 - or something like that. Windows of time where hunting for the points is allowed.

Otherwise, it becomes an event where I'd actually consider giving my User/Password to a friend as well as some GC codes and having them play when I sleep. This isn't the idea of the event as we can all agree, and I'd hope MA would correct this before the event starts. Infinite time hunting for 10 days seems crazy. I know other people have great events, but the prizes are never as high as this event states. People do crazy things for money, and I expect nothing less here.

As Dub already said, Grats Angel & Gem. Angel could have his brother play his account as well as his dad. There's no way anyone could compete with that. NO WAY.

Heh, to make matters worse, Gem can just fap Angel all day on Mulaak'f. I'll try to win this, but it is the Holiday Season and I doubt I'll have 10 days of my life to give 100% for this contest.

I will trust Mindark to check the winners online times so that they have not been on 24/7. If they have - it's clear they cheated (EULA says you can't lend your account to anyone). Then again, how is MA to determine how much sleep a person need?

Hmmmm, those who claim MA is doing this for income, it doesn't work that way. This event will only have a few participants as mentioned before, who have 150dmg/s guns and can play close to 24/7. Everyone else knows they'd have no chance and won't play more than normal.

If MA really wanted to make a event that brings in the cash, they'd do another robot-secret-transmitter type event were nearly everyone has a chance to win a neat prize and everyone who has the spare time to log in will do so and kill some drones.

Thinking a bit more about something to complain over. I think Mindark could have told us a bit earlier that this was coming, if they had I might even have considered staying home over christmas to compete - too late for that now, though.

as i suffer from severe bouts of insomnia i can go for 5 days without any sleep. Its quite possible anyone could stay up harvesting the points. This will be interesting to say the least. Im going to give it a shot and just hunt those mobs -mulfaak,. dont think ill win but its not everyday you see MA doing an event like this

I'm planning from days to make an Heavy run on CND ... & was happy to have enough money to do it tomorrow & the next few days!

BTW, I don't think I could win, but participate would be funny... event just have the chance to be part of it...

So... now I don't know what to do... spend my time killing Atrox & Exo (I really don't think I would put a foot in the PVP4 during the competition... PEOPLE THERE... ARE CRAZY! ) or going HOFfing on CND!

Oh... maybe a 10k ped HOF (mining) would give the solution to me
