I believe that MA tried to create this event to reward those diehard players who put in big hrs everyday.....

I think they simply didnt take into account the ways that cheaters would abuse the system which was pointed out over and over jsut after the announcement of the event....

They also didnt take into account the number of non cheaters who would risk their lives by non stop playing............

Then when several of their diehard ubers stated that they would not have the time over christmas to put into such an event.......

ABRACADABRA........ 6hr time limit and the event is now back to an uber advantage.......

So that noone take my post the wrong way......I bow to those of you who have taken the mass amounts of time to become uber......

I think the event was a great idea but would have liked MA to have made it 12 hrs max to give those of us who do have the time to play a fighting chance.......

I am an EU addict.......I spend 12 to 20 hrs a day in here.........

now I have been told that I can only play for 6hrs if I want a chance....


I know I am not going to win this but all I can wish for is that MA will tell me my final standing so I can work towards a higher position next event.....

The event is wonderfull, but there is 2 points i wand to clarify

1) What about players which abuse the event system to create false event in which noone can register to keep a full land area for thereself? I think its unfair coz the event system is not made for that, its an abuse as the lottery before, and i would like to have those people disqualified

2) Current rulez make everyone have to hunt during the last 6 hours period from 18 to 24 ma time the 31 december.......... so, if we are american No problem, but if we are european, we have to forgive our friends and family, and new year night to play eu? This is totaly unfair, and that last 6 hours should be just removed,
since we are in 24 hours periods, why dont just stop the tournament the 31st at 18 ma time?

MA REALLY showed concern about players purpose recently, including on that event management, and i would really appreciate to see them push it a little more, for us european which still have family and friends

Where is the leaderboard??
Why cant there be a leaderboard for this event with current top 5 and your actual standing in this contest...
There must be a way to implement this in some sort of way like it is in the Champions leage or similar.
Would make it alot more fun and taking away any doubts about a "setup" for the winners.

the more i think about this event the more i think we will be shocked by the winner ... pending MA gives it to the true winners [thats another story] ... those that are pushing to the max 6 hours exact and so on ... it is easy for MA to disqualify you ... i wouldnt be suprised if some lower level player that put in a few hours here and there [so to say] is the winner of the event just because those trying so hard are at greater risk of time disqualifaction.

I can for sure understand the viewpoint that the ones with most ped/best equipment should have an advantage, but to turn events such as this one to a showdown between the usual suspects as soon as there is something worthwhile on the line, is just selfdestructive (for the events) in the long run imo. Why would anyone bother, we all know there is absolutely no way in hell to compete? As it is, people with high hp, good faps, good huntingexperience and so on still have the advantage, but not one that would be considered insurmountable.

The continous profit that someone with the best gear can pick up in the other 360 non-event days of the year are incentive enough to keep us wanting to improve, so to turn the actual events a bit more level is not a bad or unfair idea at all.

Ok having done a 2nd day of this event, I'll admit it. Noobs CAN'T win. No way, no how. I just fired my foeripper at atrox young for ~ 2 hours straight without stopping my fire or using any other weapon. There is no way anyone without at least a mod merc could compete with that. Not saying don't try, but if anyone that isn't holding a 100+ dam/sec weapon wins this it would be an obvious hoax. The only other ways to win this if you're not holding one of those guns would be to have a support shooting team taking mobs down to 60% HP for you (which I wouldn't do because I think it crosses the line of sportsmanship) or to be doing exo youngs ONLY with a VERY fast middle damage gun (65+ dam/sec). You'd also have to be able to NEVER stop firing. I don't know of any LA populated enough with exo youngs to be able to constantly shoot for 6 hours. Not to mention you'd have to run from mob to mob then since they don't agro easily. Pretty much can forget that one. So that leaves support shooter or 100+ dam/sec.

Sorry to kill anyone's hopes and dreams, I'm just saying this as honestly as possible to save some people a lot of time and effort during their Holiday Season. If you think I'm exaggerating, feel free to keep trying. Sorry MA, I'm not trying to kill your profits, but it is the truth and I want everyone to enjoy their Xmas instead of be imprisoned for it as I've decided to do. I'm only trying because I do have one of those guns thankfully.

It is for the exact reasons you said STAR that I would like to see MA give us leader board and or your overall position....

IFand it is a big if I did have a chance of winning I would like to know where I am and and how I am doing......

I am gonna see this through right the way to the end even tho I dont have 100 damage gun and I dont have a mod fap and i dont have any uber gear....

I am going to see it through for the spirit of competition.......

you just never know MA might actually be counting not just have a few ubers on their list to give a christmas present to....
