They were probably thinking that with the holidays more people would be able to participate. Search the threads regarding the recent events and there are COUNTLESS complaints about the timing... MA can't please everyone.

I think the 6 hour rule was a bad one. If someone is truely dedicated to winning, they will do what it takes. If that means hunting for 200 out of 240 hours, so be it. Just my opinion and I already know many of you disagree...

This is absolutely unforgivable. What the hell were they thinking? I am very glad I did not try this event, because as soon as Paynova went tits-up I was unable to do pretty much anything ingame.

I think the TT weapons only event is a great idea, but not for an event with prizes of this magnitude.

I agree with your take on the whole TT weapons idea and was toying with things that MA could look at....and one would have been that to enter the event you go to the TT and grab an event token that would drop an event gun into your inventory like perhaps an MM........

at the end of the event the gun simply disappears...it would be locked to your avatar so noone could try to scam anyone by trying to sell it .......to get the most effect out of this gun you need skills so having a weapon like this will get you more chance but not make their skills any less important....and how many people will get the chance to use an MM ingame ever.

they could make it so that the gun could only be equipped for 6 hrs every 24.
then people could have done their 6 hrs and still been able to chat craft mine trade.......or place a bid on the LA's that were in auction.

there are lots of idea's that might be of use to MA when they are thinking about the next event that players have come up with during this one.

Any team in any sport today has a coach, a doctor, a manager... a lot of people around to do different things. They just have to play. They are pro. In EU peoples have to shoot. Support will help them be pro. You don't play in the spirit of sportsmanship, but in the spirit of fun. An amateur will rarely ever win against a real pro, but it can be an interesting match.

Is true that MA create events for pro's mainly, and something with a full set of gremlin as price, or something similar can be a nice try for snable killers for example. And mining events with clues can be implemented, and crafting can have some riddles to unlock... Events for only one profesion is not a good thing. And hunting for the opportunity of gaining SL like toys is not so nice for a hunter. But TT can eat anything I suppose.
