It was one of the best events MA has put on so far but I'd still like to see a weekend of the random drop idea- "from now until sunday one claim deed for a new LA will drop from a random mob, could be exo, could be spidey!" giving everyone a shot at random chaos!

No points totals and a second place who never fuckin appeared anywhere during the event.

Where are the points totals MA?

Where is the transparency?

Well you can be sure you are going to get some fucking difficult questions about your IPO.

Check the identity and line of work IRL.

You have siginificant money laundering and false advertising issues within this game, they WILL be brought to the attention of potential investors and the pink press within the UK and Europe.

As a company you treat your customers with total contempt something that BMW, Marks & Spencers etc would never get away with.

MindArk, when will any event appear that everyone actually has an option to participate in? Sofar with all events I think back at - has been something for ubers or their uber guns.

Sadly that's how I see it too....the time limit made it uber ground only, again.
Biggest guns and skills....biggest bankroll in fact, wins. It wouldn't have been as clear cut if Ma had opted for a halfway point between 24 hrs and 6 hrs per day though, something like 12 hrs max would have let in more people with a chance.
Pure hard grinding work would have counted much more.

It's sure as hell not the guys who won who set up the rules or did anything wrong, they deserve gratz for winning an uber event. Can't take that achievement away from any of them as the competition was also uber and fierce. Whoever came 4th 5th and so on must've spent a lot of peds for very little....and they too would probably be "uber" but worse off than most at this moment for trying.

Anyone sensible didn't compete if they knew it was over their lvl and a waste of a holiday so it's not fair to whine really when we all knew the score in advance. (Not the finishing score...but would you ever want to know that anyway if it meant you missed by one mob?) Exas weren't going to win this for anyone really were they?

As for there never being events for the rest of us....they can do it, they had those Feff attacks at Fury, they were fun and doable for everyone (in teams for newer guys maybe).....they just don't try to make that type of event.

theres a lot of bad feeling about the "lack of transparency". i really dont know what people expect, no doubt some would call in to question the scores if published.

I didnt win and got nowhere near. Great fun though, looted a crap load of ESI (nothing else though which was disappointing) and hunted for free for the last week with gobs of skills on top.

As for the winners, how else did you expect it to go down? If there was no time limit the higher equiped avatars would still have won. Maybe they could have had random drops a la the bot/PoE event, but then people would say thats unfair for those that invest $'000s and some noob gets a LA.

face it, there's no way to please everyone.

We now have many people complaining about it. We will probably have more.
It's going to get boring. It's also unfair.

Can I suggest that the guys who actually won aren't at fault and don't need sour grapes to spoil it for them, they entered under rules set out for all of us that favoured them maybe...but weren't made by them.

Ubers beat ubers...simple as that. Some of those ubers paid a lot for nothing much and won nothing at all. They don't even know if they got close.

If you don't like it. Tell the people who set the rules.
That is the only way anything will ever change.

Raining on the winners parade isn't going to help anyone.

Take a while to just think of this.

What major event, in any form, is ever won by the lesser skilled, equipt, tactically and supported people??? None!

The people I see moaning about the event are the equivalent of Big Bob the pie eating alchoholic, resident of the Dog and Duck pub, competing against Carl Lewis in a run for your life contest.

Any game, sport or business for that matter rewards the most skilled, equipt and supported people. Thats the whole point of getting better.

Has anybody else noticed that none of the other hot names that could have won aren't moaning in this thread???? Credit to you guys for taking up the challenge!! I hope next time you guys get the reward you deserve for your efforts.

I think you will find that teamwork played a big part in Stormer's win mate...He had the right idea from the start.

Now THAT, would be a great way to give away a LA - not all the time of course, its nice to have Land Owners who can afford the upkeep - but although I could not afford to purchase a LA right now, I know I could afford the upkeep if I had a LA with DNA on it - might take a bit to save up for new specific DNA.. but I could swing that as well in time.

I'd LOVE to see MA give away a LA this way!
