Hmmmm,

Not a good sign...I came in around 1850+/- mark (from memory, lol...I went staright to the bottom and worked up the list) and I would say I hunted 10 or so trox and around 60 exos over the first day frame and then dropped as I play well over the 6 hrs during the course of weekends and some nights. I went and cleared the argos from the orb over the holidays with 8 globals and a HOF...hehehe

So if I am at the low end of the scale of the 2000 then I wonder how many truly active accounts there are? If you look at the complaints, participants and the interest generated it would appear most of those players are covered by the 2000 and the obvious noobs hitting their favs of exos who didnt enter tehn it would appear the 600K+ player base is a far cry from actual and active participants. I would say that it would be around 5-7K players max.

Maybe the last 10 players on the 2000 list can tell us what they hunted and whether they actually 'entered' or just did their normal routine - uneffected by the event...?

I'm not sure how everyone is calculating the REAL EU player base from, as there surely isn't enough information in this thread to come close to an accurate guesstimate.

That said, I'm going to put forth the theory that about 10% of the active player base is on the list of 2k players. The rest either:

stayed away from the target mobs completely

hunted so few they didn't make the list

are primarily miners or crafters

or were busily applying their make-up and were oblivious to the fact that a competition was occurring.

Oh, and what about the ones who only work the auction?

Or pilot space craft?

C'mon people, just because a person didn't make THE LIST, doesn't mean they don't participate! I would also like to say that I think MA did an awesome job with the event, and hope for many, many more to come!!

i'm not sure if i am more shocked ma released a top 2000 list or if the fact that more than 2000 ppl actually logged in and killed anything over 10 days is more shocking.

Im #86, and I just killed much troxies because they looted good (no hof for me though) But even if I was #3, I was way over time...

I think i attepmted taming more exa during the event (most of which died). only hunted big trox on and off during the 10 days, and a few small ones when I ws letting a bot through neconu land then atrox land then atrax park (where i had carried out my atrox sweat ttest =P)

i would be even sadder on stars place... she only got 10k when he coulda got full shadow... maybe there was 100pts cap between em maybe more maybe less we dunno :F i wouldnt wanna know the pts!

According to just rough calculations, my prize was far over 20k, not sure how much yet since I haven't sold any of it yet and I'm still trying to figure out what I actually spent. I'm sure I ended up doing ok after all.
