Though I think the community is fairly small, and I was initially tempted to make some educated guesses about approximate size based off the 2k name list, I don't think it would allow for more than a very rough estimate.

For example, I am not on the list, even though I played for 2-3 hours each day, since I hunted Hoggs and SEGs during the period exclusively. I would guess there are MANY others like me. Also, this was over Christmas break and while many people may have played more because of that, many others were vacationing or spending time with family and away from EU.

Heh no scores, no times and the whiner won? Am i the only one who thinks it's Fishy. Did MA justed cook something up? They better make some event monitoring tools cause this is crap.

Giving such prizes on a badly organised event is totally out of proportion. If i would do this at work i would get fired. Sorry but we're all adults here and if you call you're self a professional you should be ashamed of the product you delivered. Next time, make a team of people and think all the options trough. Make the tools needed to monitor the event and after that go and promote it. Not the otherway around.

Still you could call it a learning moment. I hope to see such tools in the next VU. and who knows there'll be a nice storyline too. Cause the orb event/story rawkz!!!

well bugger me with a bango, i thought they'd never put that out there, so nice to see MA.

somewhat surprised i was 128th considering i didnt play for 6 sessions.

If I didn't make the mistake and waste 30 minutes flying up to cnd and back I coulda gotten second! :O

flew up to cnd cause on the 6-7th day Someone ran all atroxs off LA it was 9 pm my time so I panicked. Cause I didn't want to stay up all night.

I could not stand the spawn up there

So flew back down then I got the atroxes ughh

Stupid mistake on my part.

If I got second most on atrox's That means I probably lost only by 100-300 atrox probably :/
Thats like 10-15 min of hunting

Ohhh well I'llk try harder next time and not make stupid mistakes.

GJ to MA for posting the top 2000.

PS: I used ingame time always and always gave a 5 minute leway.

I was 380-something and I think I hunted trox for an hour or two randomly. Didn't 'participate' in the event at all. Shows that there couldn't have been that many people seriously competing.

P.S. Da.. there was some debate on IRC about whether or not you'd kill yourself when you saw you were 4th. Glad to see you didn't.

Thanks MA for posting the list, and a heart-felt congradulations to all those who fought for the prizes with their time and their peds; it clearly was a mighty struggle, and you should be proud of yourselves, even if pride doesnt come included with a Land area or a set (full with foot guards, I hope?) of Shadow Armor.

MA: I strongly agree with the suggestion to include an updating leaderboard ingame next time.
That would really liven up the event and the ingame interest, since it would provide all of the rest of us with a chance to follow the action hour by hour, day by day, and maybe even jump in to help our friends and society mates pull a miracle out of their hats at the very last minute.

Woo. I only tried for 1 day and managed to complete about 4 hours before I got bored...still came in 202nd out of 2000+
