It's already been strongly hinted at, and pointed out numerous times in this thread already that the company is: +++Creative Kingdom+++

It's a shame that many people posting in this thread so far seem to either be completely off-topic, have a selective reading ability or are just posting completely unfounded rumours and misinformation, which is only adding to the confusion and the fact that the same questions keep being asked even though the answers already exist in this thread.

Other thing, all the development of this new planet will be performed by a third party, MA will only give technical support, so the resources diverted from the development of Calypso will be minimal and MA will continue to expand it.

From what NetStalker gives out of his conversation with the reps from that company they are committed in giving us an awesome planet.

If that company is indeed Creative Kingdom, then they have a lot of experience designing buildings and that is a good thing.

I guess that they will also use their planet as a showcase for their RL buildings but if they are as committed to the game part of it as NS tells us, then it will be awesome.

Discussion of the implications of the China/CRD thing here only adds to the confusion. The "new planet" that is the subject of this thread seems to be completely seperate to the issue of the CRD/Dotman deal.

Looking at the Portfolio of work that Creative Kingdom Inc. has been involved in, which includes Master Planning, World Class Resorts & Hotels, Casinos, Convention Centers, Theme Parks, Shopping Malls, High Rises, Architecture & Art Director Models, and CGI 3D Animation makes me very excited about this whole thing!

Check out the news announcements on the Crytek site as to who has recently (Actually in all, there are not many) licensed the crytek2 engine

Most of them have a little speel on what their upcoming cry2 development is about on the crytek site, though if you go into the site of the developer itself. More info can be found about what they are working upon.

PS. Go through and consider the other licenced crytek 2 partners, I was just using the above as an example The reason I suggest this is licensing of middleware (Crytek Engine) is usually done before two parties negotiate such a partnership. (MA & New planet partner)

On a serious note i think a new planet and new colonists will bring many possibilities for older players, as example i am working on a webhosting site specifically for EU, bringing in new players will attrackt more old-skool (no skool) players that have left the game and may give EU another shot it deserves...

Not that it bothers me as your free to your opinion, but those who neg rep'd having been through your recent posting profiles, *nearly* all are along the same negative whine whine whine lines, limited this, limited that, cry cry cry, I lose so much money amoungst other shit.
