New planet!!

it would be inpossible to stay with the same pilot system when there would be 100 planets....

They have already said , that components and parts for spacetravel will start to drop as part and in preparation for the space pirates event.

But i feel some advantage must be given to the ones already owning a hangar , like ability to take on more passengers , or less cost to fly or something like that.

But , exiting it is , hope cool items start to drop soon!!

By linking metaverses both companies have access to each other`s playerbase. This alone seems reason enough. As that planet will be developed by another company, expect not only different visuals but totally different game mechanics. Ofc we might see some common features, they may decide to keep parts of Entropia as we know it, but might redesign from scratch, mod or add lots of new features, just like when certain game engine is used to create different games.

I agree there will be lots of new features. I just hope that if for example there will be new gun dropping on that planet it will be possible to by it there and using gate bring it back to Calypso and use it on Calypso.

I think Mikass is right,and it will be more Las Vegas then Monte Carlo right now...The prices will again shoot to the skies,and only the depositers(big ones) will have fun.Anyway,it will be fun to lie down and look how it dewelops
