Ok, I hope this time they don't botch the execution. I.e. release too few pieces of land at a time. Or it's just gonna be a repeat of what happened last time.

Basically, the colonists don't want to see 4-5 societies snatching up all the land. No offense to those societies of course, the wealth just needs to be spread around more.

MA releasing all the LA's at the same time, imo, is the best possible solution (if servers can support it). There should be no separate lg for young,mid,uber players or depending whatever equipment you have - that just doesnt make sense and is an insult to those who have the high skills/equipment.

Consider the following scenarios:

If warrants,aow,m2s,dejavu,fillintheblankubersoc, are strong enough to

1. hold multiple la's at the same time spreading their resources out, they get to win multiple la's.
2. if same socs are strong enough to hold off all comers during the first four hours, they get to move to the next la they want to take over and repeat.
3. at the same time, lesser skilled socs will get to fight over less desirable la's and possibly win some

Uber socs will still get their larger share of la's (and they will be the most preferred) and that is just fine. Non-uber socs will get fair play - even if in the end the uber socs come and kill them all at 3hrs 49 min 30 secs. It's all about strategy.

Even when you disallowed soc to win / claim more than 1 LA, the uber socs will make a deal with their cadets and help them to win one.
So yes, best you can do is release all la's at once (and spread around the server strain too).

...so basicly this isn't a fair game to noobs but hay you think about it the ubers have spent way more money than noobs like me, so they can't exactly complain after you spend 2k usd perhaps then MA will favor you keep that thought and cash it in MA's bank

Shut down the servers for 2 hours prior to the event.

Move the claim markers to random locations within the land area.

Bring up the servers.

Release all land areas at the same time.

I think this would be best.

Odds are the major societies would each grab a land area with no one challenging them.

Where the action would be is with the mid-level societies. There would be some amazing battles for 2nd tier land areas.

I agree with the releaseing all land at the same time, but keep the 1 LA per a duration of time. I do not want to see another consolidated holding by the top 4-5 societies. Other people deserve a chance too.

I think the same time is a good idea, only one problem ............. what time zone would that be? People will be pissed if they can't participate because at work, or in bed.
