I think that a good rule would be that all members listed at the time of awarding the claim(the exact instance they meet the 4 hour requirement) gets the income for the entire duration of the soc running the LA. Should make no difference if they leave or are booted from the soc after the event they still get the portion they would have had they remained in the soc. Otherwise some of these socs are going to thin out real quick afterwards--especially the ones doing the hot and heavy recruiting now.

If a member of a society is member when a soc gets an LA they cannot be kicked. If they are kicked they are "Suspended" from the soc and do not see soc chat. But they still get tax.

3 people with LR59s with Shear Pro are enough to take down anyone. But do it over and over and over without dying yourself, that is different !

Yup, and I assume they will keep it the same...Although it would be nice if this time around people were able to be removed under certain circumstances, even after the land areas stop giving tax.

How it was in the past

1) If you kick a soc member, they still receive tax. This prevents hitler soc leaders from occuring. You don't want a soc getting a LA and having leader boot all and taking all tax. They no longer receive tax when they join another soc. This is how it worked in the past and is a good rule.

2) If a soc member quits, I think they also still received tax until rejoining another soc.

Suggestions

I believe a soc leader should be given the right to boot people WITHOUT taxes if they aren't active more than a certain number of hours over period of LA ownership. I've had trouble in the past with inactives that still receive tax while the rest of the society is paying for the LA's fertilizer or DNA improvements. There should be at least some sort of safety net there. Where all in soc could vote someone out of the taxes or a majority, or just leader if a certain number of hours online aren't played.
