Regarding Focus Charges - Page 4

I used to bubble everyone in PA and other areas, but long ago I got complaints and only bubble in the sweat camps. I remembered reading a few threads where people had complained to MA about being bubbled and the person that was bubbling was told by MA to knock it off. That is when I started using focus only on sweaters.

I could only find one of the old posts in a quick search but I know there were more.

Focus Charging people is against the EULA :(

1st: Skilling focusing is best in Nea's or Swamp Camp

2nd: If you absolutely have to do that in some city just say for example " Giving free focus charges @ tp"

3rd: Some kind of a body language would be good to not force anyone to say what they want in global channel "Giving free focus charges @ PA (dance pogo if you want it and dance tap if you dont want it)"

Can you imagine the chat spam if everyone that focused / healed asked the target if they could heal / focus them?....

OMG! And you think the graphics bubble would lag you? Try having 100 lines of text per minute scrolling up your chatbox...

At the end of the day, it is harmless, but annoying to some and serves no purpose in towns.
If you want to focus people, go to where it will not annoy the sensitive minority and do it at Neas or Swamp Camp.

Alternatively, those that don't like it should go somewhere that they won't be focused...

but healing does not interfer with individuals activities. and so, i will heal when i see that i can without asking. i do not expect any fee and will often decline when is offered (but is usually not offered).

focus CAN interfer - therefore, i do not, unless specifically requested.

focus is not often necessary in town. healing can be used anywhere ..

When I am focused, I am more worried about the guy that just wasted the focus charges on me because I have no intention of sweating whatsoever.

if you are at the revival area at swamp camp or nea's odds are you're going to get focused. just accept it.

any where else its fair to say you should be asked before getting the little bubble.

Is it just me or has the word bubble lost all coherent meaning because of all the use in this thread? Go on, repeat it in your head, it'll mean nothing soon. Bubble. Bubble. Bubble. Works with any word. Table. Plant. Chair.

oh, and i don't particularly like being focused without asking but meh, whatevs, didn't cost me anything, which is always a pleasant suprise in this universe!
