Noobish question -- what is the use of focus? I ve tried doing few tests myself and didn't really notice any difference.

Focus helps you to concentrate while being hit by a mob. Most useful when sweating so that you dont get interupted while thinking.

Focus charges help you when you are concentrating for sweat gathering and other mindforce-activities. Normally if you get attacked, you will lose concentration and have to start again, with focus charges, you will remain concentrated, and lose a focus charge instead.

focus comes in very handy if you like to sweat for long periods of time. if you can afford it, i would advise getting the most potent chip for focus you can so you have to charge it less.

The problem with that is the Potent Focus chip cannot be used with the tt Aa Implant. You could of course buy a cheap implant that the Potent chip can be used with, but you then have the problem of not being able to use one of the most popular and useful MF chips, the Lesser TP Chip. The only way round both these problems is to buy an expensive implant.

sorry mandy i should have been a bit clearer in posting. I didn't literally mean THE potent focus chip, i meant the best one that a person could afford at that time.

I myself have only got a level 3 focus chip for exactly the reason you gave. I have got a Potent one but i'm still to get the implant that will allow me to us my TP chips my Potent focus, Heal and Nerveblast all on the one implant.

I use Moderate focus chip right now and there was this msg:
"you lost 3 (4,5,...) focus charges because of chip overload" or something like that.
So i can't make more than 24 charges total. Does this number changes for other focus chips ? Because i remember people making focus on me for over 30 charges
Do i just need bigger chip ?

yep the higher the chip the more focus u can give to another

Yep, it's dependent on the chip level, so you'll need to use a higher level chip to go more than 24 charges.
