So, Last run wasn't spectacular, made a small profit though, so nothing wrong at all, and I could now start with 11 probes.

From now on, I will sell my finds "to myself". It just takes too long to go into Twin Peaks or PA after every run, and try to sell my returns. Apart from that I don't like to sell to resellers/traders, and also, I mostly mine in pvp4 when not many people are online, meaning I could have to spend 2 hours for finding am enmatter buyer.

So...I will just "sell to myself" at the average markups, and later I will put the bigger quantities in auction.

This run was a little better as the previous run...but not yet what I hoped for (you will see what I'm hoping for, hopefully in one of the next runs...oeehhh tension build-up!!! :P)

On the comment of using to little probes: This is done because I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. I know I can profit in pvp4, I just wanted to show that it can be done by any noob.

Comments:

Due to a succesful last run, I was now able to buy more probes AND buy an opalo with some ammo. This is very handy, as I can now shoot at Mulaak's when a green dot is showing up, so I will be able to escape (hopefully) and keep my materials and my toxix shot.

Not a great run, got back what I put in, still not happening what I'm hoping for...

FL was almost completely red, I didn't meet a single G-dot.

Comments:

Damn, this run was bad...17 probes and 2 finds, of which 1 unclaimable. This neccesitates me to sell the newly aqcuired opalo + ammo, just to at least have some probes for the next run...

I wonder who the lucky camper was..! I bet I'd be more than satisfied to pay 50pecs for making a foul out of the PKer who did it..! Camping is an unfair strategy imho, but it can also be of a hassle for the Pker itself so there's always the other side of the coin for each thing.

Sold my opalo, and went out qith 14 probes. Again loots were not what i hoped for. Seems like pvp4 is drying up more and more lately. Not good for this experiment. But my peds survived again, next run I will have 13 probes.

FINALLY! I found what this whole thread is really looking for: Bloodmoss (BM from now on)! With a spectacular markup of 1500%. A nice amount of it, and this means this experiment is bound to succeed. First probe was a nice III BM, with markup worth over 30 peds (60 probes!). Next run will be far more relaxed now, I can't go broke easily anymore. I can now also buy my opalo back + 100 ammo, so I can shoot mobs when a G dot is approaching.

Later I might go for an amp, or for an oreminer with bombs to combine it or... Ok let's not look too far in the future.

P.S.: I always refine my finds, and put them in auction for a good price (I don't go for the instant peds by selling it to an order). That way I can sell BM (or the refined Medical Compress) for 1500% (probably even more), and not for the 1300% that the BM graph will sometimes show as daily/weekly markup.
