mining maps & tips

Hi and thnx in advance for any & all advice. I am pretty new still and just getting into mining. I am wondering first if & where I can find any good maps that show what minerals are richest in what areas. Also I am wondering where is the best place to start off mining, i know that there is not any guarentee in what minerals are richest on what days .. But i just need something to get started with . I went on one run at Ft Ithica and had pretty good results(I think so). I got some Magerian Spray, oil, & Melchi Crystal (I refined them.) About 10 ped worth tt prices
i look forward to any feedback thnx
Tiff

Hi!

You can find ore and enmatter locations at entropedia. North part of ithaca is good place for enmatter, and Cape Corinth is good too. I believe these are well known, and usually miners dont want to reveal their lucky spots.
If you afford, do 10-20 probe experiments around eudoria, so you can find out your self wich places are worth mining.

Good luck with mining!

Well as far for me, there's only one place you shouldn't go in any occasion, that's the blue area W of Eudoria.. there's only one spawn where there's oil and it has maybe 3-5 claims in it..

But otherwise you could mine almost everywhere..
I personally don't like going to the desert, 'cause I always make loss..

But some places I could suggest
NW of minopolis is pretty good.. (not sure anymore, many miners going there and the avg. depth there is around 300m, so It's pretty useless to me now..)

And you could try going around the blue area near Fort Zeus at the NE of Eudoria, it's pretty full of oil, melchi and ali.. (I've been told to use the N area more) and I've had no success at the mountains there, W of the area.. (don't bother going there either )

There's some places that I have used and discovered myself.. go use 'em if you want

Hey you've given out my super secret spot! Lol. I love that area for mining... I try to make a trip out there every few days. Decent hunting too.

Make own map...make notes of what you find and where, eventually you'll build up quite a list of good places for each type of resource. There are apps to help you do this if you do a quick search.

Almost anywhere can be a good place, it's all about luck with the bigger finds.

I'd stay the hell off CND until you have some skills and gear though.

JaxMap site have good maps to print. Make own notes during mining run.

Easily you can find locations on rare deposit and can avoid low value deposit. Sometimes new version update can move deposit to another area not so common. But it's possible.

I do lot paper work with mining runs and write down, gear, deposit type, size, location and VU. When skills gets better i do same run and update data. Better skills and better equipments give whole new results.

And most import thing, EU is dynamic.
