Question: Whats your Spaceship to Beacon found ratio?

Mining for 2 years.

1 ship found soon after I started. No beacon.

for me, approx. 1 year of mining has produced 1 ship.
No beacon though.

I've found.. Langotz, Hansidian, Angel scales... and pritty much every ore...
But never a spaceship nor a beacon

unlucky I guess...

Hmmm.. 7 beacons out of 20+ spacecrafts.. so.. ratio around 3.

IMO ships are given to you when area (or we should rather say ore or enmatter) is overminer and EU has nothing to give you (or is charging bigger hit and don't want to give you).
the bigger the amp the lower chance of beacon in ship (at least it's the way it works for me).

I would say gz, but not much for as residue goes for 102% :P

Seven ships and seven beacons, so 100% for me.

This was back in VU 8.x though and I haven't mined for a while so use these figures as you like.

As a side note these were found with both (L) and un-(L) finders all unamped.

I estimate I've found about 20 ships or so in the past 2 years. Almost half of them have had beacons, I'd say my ratio is 20/7. Most have been 23pedders, plus one 25ped beacon.

Yesterday I got a beaconless botship.

I wouldn't mind if they'd add some other useful items to robot spaceships in addition to beacons, something exclusive just like the beacons...
