Yeah im on the latest version, if i drag the application around the advert seems to be stationary on a black screen and there is a 'window' that lets you see whats behind it,


haha amazing, i was print screening to show, but in paint it just showed up as a blank black box, but if i moved the screen shot in paint over the Ifound app it shows up the advert! not too sure whats going on there!

Edit: also saved pics of it just show up as black squares.

New Version Alpha 077_1 is out. There was some freaking stuff going on with the mediaplayer which is (i hope) fixed. iFound uses Apple Quicktime now. Its not needed but not all features will be available if not installed.

Mal: Gazz is in the List. Check again.
At the bottom of the Map Window are 2 CheckBoxes. Just select "Public Finds" to show the claims you got in return.

Angel Scales is spelled "Angle Scales" in the enmat list.

Typonolic steam is spelled "Typolonic" in the list.

~~ I hope you are still accepting spelling errors as bug reports. Otherwise, it looks as if I'm nitpicking the app that you invested so much time and effort into.

Ah damn, i have the same problem as Ben, just not that hardcore but its annoying..

With the next update i will change it in the lists, your local Databases and on the Server. So there will be no mixup in the future with names.

PS: there are some claims in the DB at the moment where no coords or depth was given. Those kind of entries will be forbidden in the future since its too easy to make up claims like that in order to get data from the share.
Most of those claims are indeed "made up" and the user will be blocked and the data deleted.

New Version Alpha078
To use the share option, Version 078 or higher is mandatory!
I took action to prevent fake claims in the Public Database. If you update from an older version you will only need to keep your old ../DB/iFoundDB.rsd file. So copy that into the new ../DB/ folder. (replace the exisiting iFoundDB.rsd file). If you used the Public Server to share, you will have to upload again and you are done!
At the moment the Public DB has 588 unique and vaild claims.

New:
- Full names for Ores
- SpaceShips as find
- Out of the Ordinary as "Claim Size"
- Spaceships finds are shown on the Map
- Validation of new entries

Known Problems:
- The Video area gets lost some times
- If you upload your claims and try to scroll the list, the app seems to freeze. Just wait a bit until upload is done.
