I can feel your pain, but at the same time if a ship would had spawned on me i would have claimed it aswell, and i EXPECT anyone that get's to a ship i spawned before me claims it aswell. It might not be the nicest of things to do but well that's just how things are in this game.

That sucks! I can see if you come upon a ship and wait for several minutes or more an no one comes but even in that case can you be sure it`s the original finder as many are likely to lie about it. Hard to call aside from your case where the guy clearly knew it was`nt his find.

Legion I think that`s the way things are in this game for the people who want it to be that way. For the rest of us we`ll set our own examples.

Spawned by the miner.. are you sure? because i'v runned into a spacecraft when i was on tp run and got it the strange tthing is that i dropped a bomb beside it and i didnt got a strange signal xP so maybe someone else spawned it and i got it and thats why i didn't got a signal? (a year ago)

Absolutely positive.
More than once, I've been with friends who've gotten a strange signal - to test it, I dropped bomb and probe / no signal.

Also .. 3 or 4 times .. they've spawned behind me, where I just ran through, and there damn sure wasn't a ship or bots there, when I went through a few minutes ago.

I mine in lines .. so I know where I was and where I was going

It is spawned by a miner .. but anyone can claim it.

Man that really sucks,

i remember the first time i got a strange signal went and even killed the bots was about the same as u 2 months in and i didnt know what i found, i hadnt previously read up on the robot missions so i was clueless to what i was looking for.

After wandering around the ship for 10 mins trying to figure out what to do if any thing i see a uber in vigi come running up and hit the little red button that i some how missed. Bam he globals, says nothing but "lol" then runs off.

Well after some research i found out what happened to me and was rather upset like u.

I like to think karma came back and got him some how.

Sucks.

I remember my first ship, it was right in a heavy traffic area, but it was late at night(or very early depending where you live), so the average traffic for that time was lower then normal.

I died 3 times trying to find the button and click it before i got it. Was a pure adrenaline rush by the time i actually looted the thing. Cant believe i didnt lose it. Had a beacon too for my trouble. No beacons since.


Ive also had a ship spawn in an area im certain i just probed, and there were no ships before i got the signal when i ran through.

i remember my first spaceships....found them both on the same day...

no one stole them, no one was close, and ofc, no beacons inside.
