Danielle you know I love you to death BUT there is no proof it is spawned by the miner. In fact I would say that since it appears to everyone, it is most likely not. It is probably just there waiting to be found.

My advice is don't worry about it too much. You will find that in the grand scheme of things, that is far from the worst thing that can happen. I'm sure the guy hunting 25m away from me was pissed that he did not get my 10k berycled.

Hi Kaiser !!
I believe that it is, because myself and countless others have mined through a certain spot .. ran through 0 mobs and no space ships hovering about - only to turn around 150 meters ahead to go right back to that very same spot - to run smack dab into the spacecraft..
There was no ship or bots there when I ran through 45 seconds ago .. how'd it get there, then ?

Your disappointment is understandable. A friend lost his first (and only) spaceship to a player who got to it first. He felt robbed and cheated. He was deprived of the excitement of that find. My friend doesn't play anymore.

I certainly hope this experience does not cause you to leave the game. With luck you will find another spaceship soon and it will have a larger beacon. With luck, the person who raided the spaceship you spawned, will read this thread and contact you. Yes, I believe the miner spawns the spaceship. And yes, I believe MA should change the rules and give the miner a deed to the spaceship that is valid for one hour.

Yesterday I had the good fortune of receiving a strange signal. As I moved toward the location, I could see a green dot on the radar before the red dots of the drones appeared. My heart sank. I was sure I had lost "MY" spaceship. But as I got closer I saw that the three red dots had surrounded the green dot - and it turned white. I normally do not cheer when another player is killed, but

MA Support has in fact CONFIRMED that these are spawned by the miner.

Well My friend.. I been mining for a year and a half now and I fully believe that WE miners DO spawn the ship.

The poll you posted will be skewed and MA will not change it as there are more hunters then Miners atm. Have faith tho as you will at some point cross a lost ship that some one else has not been able to get / find. No to mention that you WILL spawn more if you continue to mine.

My only advise is either bring along gear that you know will keep you alive to kill the two or three bots . Call soc mates in for search and destroy along with protection. Or when you have enough dodge and agil just run up past the bots and hit the button. The drones that gaurd the ship only sting for a minute or two so it wont be longbefore you can just ignore them and run up and press the button.

As far as a buyer of that particular beacon maybe you will extend an invite to this new player since it has been proven which beacon was in fact his and who stole it.

Anyway...
If basic courtesy (always) would work, miners wouldn't need any claims at all.
Enuff to w8 for a short moment when ship sudenly spawned out of blue.
But for such a cases like these, i support timer ...atleast for few minutes. (abandoned spaceships are diff. case ofcourse)



Ofcourse if you know who did it...you can always repay him "favor"
... in one way or another..eventualy. .-)

Must disagree... One of the spaceships I found was a strange signal only 25 meters away. Before I could turn to look around the bots were already shooting me. Safe to say it was not there until the finder said so...

So it would seem that miners do indeed spawn the ship, please keep posting your replies and history regarding them here & maybe...just maybe we can get MA to give us a deed when we spawn one.


Your replies are priceless, please also use the poll so we can get a strong argument for having deeds for ships or not.

There are...from what I have read so far....2 types of players...those who like to take others ships & couldn't care less about the miner that spawned them, & those who have some moral & give others a chance regarding at least this matter.

Please keep your votes coming as they are very useful & needed.
