This Really Sucks

Is this just me or does this really suck?

I decided to do a quick mining trip at New Swiss last night. When I teleported there I got a notice saying that there was an event starting within the next hour - Argomania. Hmm I thought - that sounds interesting, it might make mining here a bit easier if there are a load of people shooting the higher level Argos.

Off I went starting to mine, killed a few Argos on the way. A few minutes later - another notice came up on screen saying Argomania starts in 10 minutes. Cool thinks I so continued to mine. I hit a very nice VIII Ignisium but had to shoot a couple of Argos that were in the way, then this happened...

I couldn't have timed it worse, if the claim had been bigger I would have had longer to mine it, if it had been a III-V I wouldn't have really given a shit about it.

My main gripe is that although there were notices that there was going to be an event - none of them told me that I needed to "get out". At the end of the day I'll just live and learn I suppose - it's only 10PEDish but it's bloody annoying!

Oh well , we live and learn! Now those 2 warnings you got before getting booted start to make more sense.

...also next time, you can just register for the event (assuming the Reg fee works for you).

You won't get booted if you are a Reg Participant.

"You could have registered prior to the event starting, then you would not have been booted" (again, assuming the Reg fee worked for you)

Thats what happens when there is an event on a la, its for ticket holders only.

You were warned, twice it seems

In future would you like ma to issue a warning like this?

An event is about to start soon, either buy a ticket, or when it starts, you will be tp'd out, so pack up your mining gear, and get your pretty arse out of here
