Ok, here's what I accomplished today:
1. Added code to strip newline characters out of the data before it goes in, so hopefully no more of those blank rows. 2. Sent a fixed copy of the file to the two that I believe got stuck with a bad file (Hellfire included.) 3. Learned that hotmail accounts are blocking these emails. ![]() I think I will do what you suggested Legion and instead of emailing the files, I can just create a dynamic link on the upload page if you pass the 100 record test. The link will appear the same but it will point to a newly created, uniquely named file each time. I'll probably make those changes over the weekend. Geez, I've left myself no time for EU today! ![]() |

I have another file with 600 or so deposits which I could upload from early last year.
The thing is that at the time I recorded them with the mapping software that I wrote and later imported them into NRF. I'm 99% sure that all the data is correct as I double and triple checked everything, the only thing is the deposits have the date that I found them but not the time So what do you guys think, should I upload them? |

Well there's no harm in trying. The worst thing that will happens that they'll get kicked out as invalid records. Can you somehow do a search and replace and put 00:00:00 after all the dates so it is in the proper string format?
If you're asking about the quality of the data with the times missing, I think day is close enough. Sometimes my NRF doesn't work at run time so I have to do a batch upload after I logoff EU. I guess if someone was hoping to do in-depth analysis of the records in an attempt to figure out if spawns occur at certain times of the day, well then they'd be out of luck in these cases, but I personally would find value in the type, size, location, and depth of another 600 claims. |

Ok, I simplified things. Now all you have to do is upload the file. Upon success, a new, uniquely named file is created and a link is presented so you can download it right there and then.
So you don't have to provide your email address and we don't have to worry about things like hotmail blocking the emails or the attachment becoming too large. Have fun! |
