NRF Log Sharing - Ok, I coded it I hope you find it useful

Darn it! You're right Borr.. .I was in the middle of updating the site when you did your upload, sorry for the trouble. I've added a couple of new pages that allow for you to click and drag over the map of Eudoria or Amethera and it will bring back the records and Average Depths for just that area of the map.

But the pages are protected by a key you'll get when you do an upload, and right now it just keeps kickin ya back to the 'Enter your key page' I'll have that fixed ASAP and will send everyone that I know has contributed a key via PM.

Good idea on the enhancment... in fact what I've been thinking about is a page where you can basically query out whatever recordset you want then export it to csv. I just didn't expect it to get this big this fast! (nice problem to have I guess.) And that sort of development could take me a couple of weeks given the little spare time I have.

Anyway, thanks for contributing, and for everyone else... standby, I'll have those analysis pages working soon and will get some keys out.

Cause it's not working for me.. But logging deposits still works.

Is this the problem with the skills?? I downloaded the software yesterday and been trying ever since to record the skills but it aint workin'. I thought that it was something I did.. I finally made something with the software also that now I cannot record the claims either.. I think I will "reinstall' it.

Yes Selene, I made Radius an Integer field. I may be able to change that but not likely to be soon. Can you open your XML file in a text editor and just to a Searh & Replace to change 54.5 to 55?

Deposit recording works fine tho. Great work on that.

Hey, sorry Koister, but I'm not the guy that coded NRF. I'm just another happy user that came up with this idea so all of us NRF users could share information with each other.

I can tell you that for skill tracking, the Skill Scanner created by jdegre works GREAT! See the Skills section of the forum.

I downloaded the latest last night to find a new spot to try out. It paid off.... I hit a XIV Cobalt for 97 PEDs on my 7th bomb!

I also couldn't believe how big this has gotten already. There are over 14k records for Amethera VU 9.0 or newer... NRF was choking on the data, but once it finally loaded up I found the map to be plastered with green dots!

I guess I'm going to have to come up with some ways for everyone to filter their results, but in the meantime you might want to try loading the csv into a desktop database program or MySQL if you have access to it so you can segment your own data a little better... don't think NRF was built for 20k + records.

Lastly, has anyone tried the new Analysis pages? I like using them before I try a new spot... I click and drag an area to get an idea of what is found there and at what depths. Has anyone else tried them out?
