Well after reading mining logs for the past few months, I have decided to start my own mining log.


I will do five mining runs, which I will drop 200 probes per run, this will total me out at 1000 probes.


I am not doing this run to complain about mining or mining loot, I just started to keep a record to see how many claims I get per 200 probes, how much expense is involved in each mining run, and the question is will I make profit or not?


Mining Run #1

..LOL!? TT profit only?? Like, if you sell that Dunkel at least, or any other enmat you got your balance would be way better!! You cannot profit on TT in long term!
..Nub, let me tell you this: NEVER TT any enmats, and ALWAYS remember your profit will come only from markup Doing an experiment for TT will never be green if you do it long enough.

I think markup does need to be added to get a real view of profit/loss. I don't think he's TT'ing anything (well, GM maybe) but just not factoring markup into the runs.

I have not figured in the Markup value, as I have not even sold the Matters yet.

I agree to get a better idea on the profit, the mark up value should be added in to the equation, however I find it interesting to see just based on the TT price of my loot to see how close I can come to making a profit.

I will post run #2 in later today or tomorrow.

Same Finder as Run #1

Surveying 2354 / 2362 = 8 points gained
Drilling 2435 / 2444 = 9 points gained
Geology 1492 / 1497 = 5 points gained

So at the end of run #2 we are still not sitting very well. when I am done with my total run, I will sell off all the enmatter at auction to see if I make a total profit or not.
